Wake up and study people Paul was never against women only false doctrine. The woman of GOD can be all GOD calls her to be even a pastor, who teaches or pastors anyway is it the human flesh or JESUS on the inside you decide. I would rather have a woman pastor filled with the SPIRIT of GOD than a man without it.

@Atrain508 -- It is the Talmud that forbade women from teaching in the synagogue, not Torah. Shaul (Paul) wrote in I Corinth 14:34, "..for it is not permitted for women to speak ...also saith the law". What law was he referring to? No such law exists in Torah (Old Testament). Paul was referring to the Talmud---not Torah. Sarcastically, he clears up the confusion in verses 36-39..."What? Did God's word come to you (men) only?" Of course the answer is NO. Read the first 5 verse + Acts 2.

we are all disciples of God, with different roles concering the church and marriage. the relationship between jesus and god is described as a marriage. Jesus cant teach God anything he already knows already. So, a woman cannot teach a man of God anything he doesnt know already. If we are all equal in christ, wouldnt it be true that men cant teach a woman of god anythinhg she doesnt know already? , because inorder to reach the kingdom, a female must become male. a woman dicple isnt a female.

The Jewish custom in the synagogue 2,000 years ago was that men sat on one side, women on the other, and Goyim (non-Jewish fearers of God) were in the rear. Paul instructed Gentile women at Corinth to keep silent in the synagogue to avoid interrupting the service. Today, male Christian pastors do not understand Paul's logic and reasons for telling women to keep silent.

When JC was alive he had followers who received teaching direct from him. When he died they were known as the GNOSTICS. There was no new testament or church. There is nothing in the scripture prohibiting women from preaching, but it's the office of elder/pastor that He has chosen to reserve for men. He has also chosen duties that only women are charged to do, & not men. God is not sexist, He's God All-knowing. Men & women of faith should appreciate the privelege to serve in the order He has ordained.

I made no reference to "hinting". The scriptures are clear. But, we will always have differences on this non Heaven or Hell issue. Women will continue to say "God called me...God called me!" And others will say "not according to scripture." However, we will all still make it to heaven and hear Jesus himself clear up all things at the Judgement Seat of Christ. He will judge in truth. Afterall, the Word belongs to Him, we are just stewards of it. He will define who was faithful and who was not.

With every book of the bible we must always consider; the historical background, context, the intended audience, the original language and meaning in that language, cultural norms, customs, and explore why did he say it that way? Following these methods when studying scripture leads us into "exegesis", the art of interpreting and explaining a passage rightly!

Somebody has to do the work. There are so many men that won't lift a tired finger to answer the call of God. If the women didn't do the work it wouldn't be done in most churches because the men are too lazy and trying to be macho. AND...I pastor a church, and have worked in the church my whole life. For ChevyDude65 -- You are absolutely correct! I see this in our own church constantly!! I'm a woman and the Outreach Director for our church. Most of the deacons in our church don't even sign up for our Churchwide Outreach events! Very sad. It's like pulling teeth. I'm tired of people that do nothing but sit in their spot in the pew every Sunday and don't serve in any way at all. Very disheartening. I can truly relate to your comment. It seems that 20% of the people are doing 80% of the work.

As far as women preachers go my fav is Pastor Melissa Scott who is the late Dr. Gene Scott's widow. She's a right on teacher, is educated, has had training & mentored by one of the most knowledgeable ever. She has a past for sure, so what? I did know that the odd woman had brought the wickedness of feminism into what is thought to be 'church' (but is actually nothing at all to do with Jesus Christ), but I did not know that so many wicked women were abouding in sin in black churches. This was a sickening eye-opener. How tragic.
