  • if u read and believe the wikipedia article about this group, it would appear that once again money and greed got in the way of music...

  • @bmmuir Yes, for Mike Curb.

  • He is also really funny!!! He did this really funny but scary voice for me and it was funny! he can do like all these other voices and its funny! haha! nice guy.

  • @Singinchick3 REALLY??? That's so funny! O_o

  • @TheLukeDarby yeaaahhhhhh i dont reallycare for their music though but i guess its ok. :) haha

  • I met Aaron and he is amazing and really sweet!! :) he was dating someone that i knew and she is like my sister so I had dinner with Aaron and his gf. He is soooo nice! :) It is kinda cool because their from Virginia and I live close to where they lived.

  • yipes...UGH. Awful sound and ridiculous lyrics. Ugh, ugh, ugh.

Sons of Sylvia is AWESOME. So very glad they got out of that cheesy, awful country group and started over. Their sound, NOW, is fabulous. Love the rock/pop music Sons of Sylvia plays now.. Leaving here to go back and watch some of their videos to clear this out of my head.

  • Maybe the best country song of the 90s. Technical ability, musicality, the whole package. These guys had it. Question is, what's wrong with Mike Curb -- and what's wrong with Nashville? Intimidated by the real thing?

  • I also had the pleasure to meet these young men about 18 years ago and watching them grow up and with so much talent, I am very proud of them!! I have always loved their music!!!!!!!!!

  • I have also meet these boys. ABOUT 12 years ago in summersville West Virginia. Amazing family!

  • Ugggh.

  • they went bankrupt......... prob should not have bought the bus.......

  • Hot Ashley looks real emo! I Love Ash!!

  • absolutely dreadful music that disgraces the badfinger song that this title was taken from.

god, i feel dirty after watching these sleezebags

  • @moosetricks watch your mmouth! these guys r like my brothers!! there sisters r like my sisters!!!! There awesome!!!!!!!!! So please dont dis them!!!!

  • I heard this song on a the radio yesterday, man i miss this song!!! LOVE THIS SONG!!

  • Best tune, best performance of the recent era. Apparently, this kind of musicianship / relationship is just naturally hobbled in "Garth Brooks' Nashville."

  • Gee, who'd have thunk that country music would bring you their own pre-manufactured boy bands ????

    What a load of crap..

  • Brilliant! cant wait for the cd

  • oh cool...my friend is married to Aaron Clark... :)

  • @PaulineBenz hey yeah, Dara..... real sweet heart!

  • I just read that It's just the three guys that were on the american band show not the 6 brothers on this video from around 2002.They are finally going to release their debut album sometime this year with the same record company that handles american Idol. Looking forward to the music,

  • Yeah they are back now after winning the next geat american band with a one less member and a small name change

  • First time I saw these guys the Dobro player was 13 I think. A BG festival in Mich. The Osborne Bros. just got done with their set and these guys came on, herd of boys with mom and dad. Great stuff, Sonny Osborne actually went out front and sat to watch their set, blew him away.

  • OMG...I LOVED THEM!! When Rascal Flats beat them at the cma's I quit listening to them...grr those rascals!

  • This is my Favourite song of theirs, I was wondering, where are they now? you don't hear much about them anymore.

    Take Care All,

    Arthur

    Ottawa Canada

  • the band is now defunct....three of the members have formed the band "The Clark Brothers"

  • They went bankrupt and there recording company kicked them to the curb.

  • they won the next great american rock band

  • The filed bankrupt after about fine years ago. Some of them has music countracs now with other singers.

  • Maybe when The Clark Brothers tour, they will add another Clark Brother or two, to the show, once in a while. We'd love to see that! Ashley has a different sound vocally, than Alan. But, it would still be fun to see them all together again.

  • I had the pleasure of meeting these guys about 5 or 6 years ago, and finer group of young men you'll never meet! Super talented, super friendly and just all-around great guys...sure wish they'd get the original band back together again. Looking forward to seeing the new incarnation on the charts soon!

  • Get this group together, and send them back to the ranch. Caribou Ranch in Colorado may reopen, and THAT is the place for a reunion!

  • The are so much cooler now

  • ahh, the 90s are so hilarious.

thank god i wasn't the age i am now in the 90s [[[=

anyway, i love the clark brothers..and of course, their old band [:

    good stuff ♥

  • Wow! What an abundance of talent! I am so happy the CB's won NGAB... Ashley, Austin, and Adam did an awesome job all on their own, but the other brothers are great, too! Look how blonde Austin is! I like their natural look better, but these boys' talent surpasses style issues. And, they happen to look great, too.

  • Obviously these guys didn't go from their living room to the NGAB stage, as I would have assumed from Ashley's acceptance speech. They have grown up to be musical geniuses.

  • I knew these guys back when- I worked in country radio in the late 90s/early 2000s. I was super impressed by this clan and still am- so glad this show has brought their music to the mainstream! I'll try to upload a 2003 interview I did with Austin... dailydoseodonna dot com

  • I would love to hear your 2003 interview with Austin.

  • I hope the Clark Brothers win the Next Great American Band!!

  • well, they are already!

  • They Did!

    Congratulations to the Clark Brothers!

  • OOOPs..I meant Guns n Roses..silly me ~_^

  • Im sorry to be so blunt, I like The Clark Brothers, but man this music video is cheesy,Though the part when Ashly is wearing a top hat, playing his fiddle in what looks like a desert is pretty awsome!!Reminds me of Slash in an old Runs in roses video..lol.. Ive been watching the Clark Brothers On American Band..Its pretty surreal...

  • NICE. i thought i'd seen a video for this once i heard the song again and knew i knew it thanks!

  • What talent all in one family!! Love your style, vocals are incredible, you boys can play those strings!!!! Truly naturals talents from you all!!! Where have you guys been hiding???? The world will be blessed by the gospel you sang last night. You probably never know the generations you touched. What a glory to God "The Clark Boys". God was looking down smiling.

  • What an incredibly talented, and good looking family!! my gosh!

    (swoon!)

  • All of them are cute. I love them.

  • wow this one is old *L* but I have even older songs then this . It brings back memories.

  • Actually it is Ashley, Austin and Adam. I got to see them alot with their brothers and their father when i was growing up.

  • Alan, Adam and Austin are on Fox's The Next Great Band..under the name The Clark Brothers.

  • It's interesting seeing them in this. Especially since they are kinda pushed to the back.

  • omg austin's so young!

and the clark brothers are amazing...everyone watch the finale friday night at 9 on FOX [:

  • i remember them from bluegrass festivals back in the early 90's i think i had a crush on one of them lol

  • i love this song

  • I remember them too from the pentecostal days! Whew - I used to have a black and white 8x10 of the whole family hanging over my bed. They sure have grown up.

  • Haha me too I have the same pic, but it's missing the 2 new girls.

  • They obviously had talent. However they fell prey to their marketing team and their songwriting wasn't strong enough to compete. Someone should have told them to spend more time back at the ranch and less at GQ studios.

  • I do think that may be a rumor my mom talks to their mom Sylvia. The reason seems that they got back to the church environment.

  • These guys were one of the better "New" country groups I've seen in a long time. The american idol new country these days is just terrible, can't even listen to the "country" radio station around here anymore, it's all hip hopish country jiggaboo crap.

  • I agree that they should've been more popular than they did. It is cool to see people in my hometown on here..Yahoo! :-)

  • Just for the record, their names are..

    Alan (guitar)

    Adam (guitar)

    Aaron (bass)

    Ashley (fiddle)

    Austin (dobro)

    Andrew (drums)

  • These guys were/are awesome, what shame they didn't get any more popular than they did.

  • man...i met them long before they became the clark family experience! back when they were with their parents doing gospel..doin' it pentecostal style!

  • Last time I heard one of them were on tour with Carrie Underwood.

  • michaelw, that was Ashley (fiddle). He's not with Carrie anymore. He, Adam and Austin are competing on Next Great American Band; check it out Friday night on FOX!
