  • Is this DCC?

  • I like the trains and the layout is well detailed too. I think the dubbing of the prototypical sounds makes a nice touch in the video as you don't get this very often.

  • where do you get your sounds from? Is there a website or something or are they from you record them when you go railfanning?

  • yay i subscribed good job on the layout and trains

  • wow ! Great movie ! Great sound ! So real with amazing detail !

  • What's the difference in O-Scale and HO-Scale? What does O and HO stands for?

  • @montgomb3 The H and O in Ho scale means Half Of O scale

    O scale is 1:48 i believe while

    HO scale is 1:87

  • fantastic layout sets a high standard

  • i seem to like these kind of videos

  • very nice!

  • yeah i bet this set takes up a bunch of space well anyways i love semi trucks, trains, and anything that can haul a heavy load

  • where did you get the sounds? Thats So cool!

  • 3:05 GREAT SHOT!!!!!

  • nice 1

  • luv the green.

  • an excellent layout, a good example for other people!

  • Its okay... thank you!

  • that is a cool coub layout you make good video clips

  • Thanks!

  • you must be dubbibg in real full sized locomotive sounds, cuz none of my ho diesel locos sound that real and that loud!! But if so, please tell me how your doing it, and what brand of locos are you buying. Mine are blueline and broadyway limiteds...

  • The sounds are dubbed in from real trains

  • You make great video clips! Nice club layout.

  • Thanks!

  • I just can't wait to post my videos.

  • Do you put dummy locomotives on some of the trains?

  • Nope. All of my units are powered. :D

  • im making a tunnel for my railroad. it wont look as good as foam but it will still look good. im about half way through. first u get chicken wire and make the frame of the tunnel. then u make the first layer with PAPER MACHE. after that first layer dries u put on a second layer as reinforcement. u can put on as many layers as u want as long as u have enough stuff. when that dries u paint it then secure it down where u want. make sure u can get it back up so u can change that track if u want to.

  • That sounds like an excellent way to do it. Thanks for posting this comment!

  • hey mtrains is your web name MT rails or is it M trails

  • mt rails, short for montana rails

  • cool. thats what I thought it was.

  • hey are you makeing any thing for Trouble On the Rails pt.4?

  • awesome sound effects

  • COOL!!! :D

  • is that the crossing where the grey coloured truck accident occur? at 02:42 :D

  • looks like it to me..lol

  • You just can't get that realistic, huge set up look with O gauge...Unless you have a warehouse, a millions dollars (possibally more) and way, WAY to much time on your hands. Thats why I model HO hellz yeah

  • nice""""

  • wow!!! nice work

  • Thank you thank you!

  • Beautiful work!!

  • Thanks!

  • what kind of sound decoders are those?

  • No sound decoders. The sounds are dubbed from video recordings.

  • i love all the camera angles. it looked like a local railfan catching some trains on camera.

  • Great

  • Great action

  • o ok thanks

  • I am enjoyin all your videos... hope to get my shortline up and going this winter - Just gotta add some buildings and roads..

  • Sounds good, hope to see some clips!

  • i like the automobile cars were did you find them

  • Those were made by Walthers, and you can still get a few of them by ordering Online at walters dot com. Since they are out of production right now, you may be able to find some on eBay...

  • When you have your trackwork completed, perhaps you could share your work in progress. :)

  • the cool thing about this video is the fact that it looks like some shots a railfan took on a busy 4-track mainline, except in HO scale! once my layouts up and running (however many years thats gonna be), my goal is to put something up here just like this.

  • Nice nice!!!

  • The last one was the best

  • Very nice!

  • Where did you get your SOUND from ??

  • The sounds are from actual trains I have recorded. I then edit the sounds to the model video.

  • to let you know the locomotives in a line are usaully Front and rear loco face away from each ohter

  • Not necessarily so bobbob. As an ex-conductor and hostler for the BN, I can tell you first hand, that the only consideration taken when putting together a locomotive consist, is that the 1st unit is "lead qualified" and facing forward.

  • Nice video, love the last part with the pumkins going by.

  • The rocks are cast from plaster, using Woodland Scenics rubber rock molds. Ask your hobby shop about them. There are 6 different ones I think.

  • Hey man cool vid. How did you make your rock?

  • loved your layout! nice work! excellent sound editing! It was a joy to watch. Waiting for part two!

  • love those sounds, sure makes model railways come alive...'rolling stock'

  • WOW! Love the opening scene. Autorack train is cool, so is the BN coal train. Looking forward to part two.

  • nice video
