  • I Seebee, John Wayne Who spent the war making films pretending to fight the war, while other actors went a really fought the war. Wayne a pretend hero among real hero's. Ill not watch this film or any of his films.

  • my great grand father was a sea bee in ww2 302 NCB..... there was an account of him driving a bulldozer and killing a jap machine gun, i wish i could of met him, he died in the 60's

  • Thank you so much, I wore out my VHS tape. Would you believe that this was one of the favorite movies of a little girl? John Wayne rocks my world.

  • Interesting when you watch the tropical island scenes during the last half-hour and later find out that they were all shot at the old Iverson movie ranch in Chatsworth, CA. I've read that art directors rounded up old telephone poles and nailed palm fronds on them to make the rocky terrain (mainly used to shoot westerns) look tropical and loaded with palm trees. Thanks for posting!
