@Royazali I would say VIII was as popular as VII, but the VII universe was more expandable, the charicters had less revealed than the ones in VIII, and they had more to work with because the story was wide open. Would be difficult to make a spin off of VIII because the story was completed and ended on a high note, with all the loose ends more or less tied up. In my mind VIII is best game ever, (probably because VIII was the first i played) closely followed by VII, but thats just my opinion.
