LARRY, I'am try I really I'am try but I can't, I have faith that Apple will restore all that features that all missing, that's why I will give the program a chance. But Larry, don't you think will be nice if in the new viewer had a PLAY HEAD, when I diselect the skimming I want to move the video with more control but is imposible and when the skimming is selected is a pain in the ass, I will copy this to every video here in Youtube to see if someone have the same issue.
@nelsonmilian00 I agree that FCP X is missing some key features. But the playhead has plenty of control. You can use comma/period, type in timecode offset values, use the J-K-L keys, grab it and drag it. There are as many ways to move the Playhead in FCP X as in FCP 7.
I bought all these training videos - worth every penny, and entertaining. Larry, you should add more jokes, I enjoy them when they are there. I am looking forward to seeing the tutorials on Motion X. I wish that I knew approximately when they would be available, so that I don't rush out and buy them from the competition from my impatience.
@soho2014 Hi! Motion is one of the training titles we're looking to prepare as quickly as possible, but it is still a couple of months off. I'm glad you like my training videos (and my sense of humor).
Unlokia, yes it is true that there are many tutorials, content, etc, on YouTube, but, as Larry stated not everyone on YouTube knows what they are talking about... It's true. Larry is human, super -human, and he always has had the best content out in the market. I would personally recommend you watch some of his stuff, because not only is it intuitive but well professional. He knows what he is talking about.
I just downloaded final cut pro x yesterday and I honestly feel bad for anyone who actually paid for it. its a good editing software, but I wouldn't say its really worth more than a few dollars. I only got it because it was the most expensive app on the page, I didn't pay for it of coarse I just simply downloaded the .dmg file
Unfortunately for Lynda.com, Larry Jordan etc, YouTube was born. If you have the budget, you'll buy the tutorial DVDs, but come on - get real. With SO many capable content creators putting amazing tutorials online, NOONE is gonna *buy* your stuff except people with money to burn.
If it comes out on torrent/rapidshare, then I see no reason why people should not watch it, so long as they are not making videos commercially, using the skills discovered.
Yes and no. Buying tutorials or software saves you hours/days worth of searching and downloading and wading through spam, porn, buyer affiliate sites, and false data/uploads. Buying it ensures you have exactly what you want when you want it. It's for people who are tired of snuffling around and want to make money (or content) quick. Yes you save money but you may not find what you are looking for (and may spend more time than you realise doing it).
@unlokia Where and how you get trained is always your choice - however, those of us who train still need to pay the rent. If we can't make money training in FCP, we'll stop. Also, keep in mind that not everyone on YouTube knows what they are talking about.
So it's been a good 10 year ride and if the application does truly get to a point where we can use it again, we could always bring it back. But for now let me just say, Goodbye Final Cut Pro and Thanks for all the Fish.
@ericconnelly The 25% free trainings are the ones we are posting to YouTube -- and they are also listed as free when you look at the FCP X chapters in my store.

@pipinho114 That's a terrible thing to say.
Larry has been so helpful for all of us editors and worked really hard for this, it would not be fair to him to rob it from piratebay

I went on your website under Final Cut Pro X, and found that all the chapters have a fee. Where are the 25% free trainings?
