Hey Peaugh. Have you had any issue with the bulb of the sword getting stuck in the hilt when trying to take it apart? I noticed it got stuck in the video, and mine's gotten pretty tightly lodged in there a few times.

This reminds me some of that old firetruck Optimus Prime who had, like, 3 different forms, and then could combine with Ultra Magnus to become an even bigger Prime. Probably my favorite version of Optimus after the original G1 version. I wish I could find him somewhere.

The extra blade is not for Prime's sword even though it fits. Its for Drift's blade in case it gets damaged it comes apart and can be replaced.

It's a alright set but I'm passing. Lazer Prime for a lot of reasons is a favorite figure of mine but this isn't really doing much for me.

I like the alt mode, but for the price I'll just keep looking out for a regular toy tanker that would line up & fit.

I've loved TFs for years & have a huge collection, but with everything now ranging from $50-$100 on the cheap, they've priced themselves out of my market same as comics did in the 90s.

I don't believe you've plugged in the back piece properly, Peaugh. The way I interpreted the instructions was not to slide it down along the gray backpack, but rather to clip it on. Above the grooves where you used to slide them is another section that's a bit tighter, the gray outer edges of Prime's backpack clip on super solidly in that section. Give it a try.

I actually got something before Peaugh wow what are the odds lol. I've had this set for about a month now and it's great, there are a few issues but I've sorted them out. The bulb issue can be fixed with a dab of glue but the wire can get caught and chewed up in the backpack. The head is fairly easy once you get the hang of it you actually need to soak it for about 10 min and holding the entire neck assembly when you put it on reduces stress completely. Great review though.
