She and Bessonova, were the only ones, that made the Rhythmic "still alive" cuz other gymnasta are only "dificulty dificulty dificulty" and they seems like dancers not like gymnast-
Recently Russian gymnasts (from her club) is only like difficulty-difficulty-difficulty since Kabaeva. The music already become just a back ground music, no hermony with the melody...maybe for getting super high score.
She was...but here, Sessina try to do much more beautiful elegant performance, that's nice but in Russia, it means =Retireing time=...so sad.
I am very glad she show us even 1 beautiful performance, which we can call =Art Work= !
ok i think vera can spin like the dickens and she has the most awesome releve, but does she have to turn every ribbon routine into some violin adagio twirling contest? c'mon vera spice it up, and leave the beatles out of it!
isn't it spicy enough for you???? it's just a matter of someone's taste... if the violin music turns her ribbon routine into a beautiful and magnificent one, why not use it?? and the fact that she's got an inclination on such music does not mean that she turns the ribbon routine into a violin contest... its just a matter of taste and submitting yourself through the music and turning as if its the last turn of your life with those high releve.
I'm not a huge fan of Vera Sessina and I don't like musics which are slow enough to make me fall asleep, BUT TO BE FAIR, some of her slow musics are really great and her routines turn out to be good, for example, the routine in this video and her ribbon routine from last year...
