  • Echos of Commedia del Arte!

  • Endlich mal eine vernünftige Interpretation! Danke!

  • Woher genau kommen die Bilder? Was stellen sie dar?

  • It's a very great pity that Europe is depopulating so rapidly. I can't envision this sort of cultural magnificience being produced by the newcomers... :(

  • @TsugaC Well, certainly they will offer something else. Don't be afraid, as Ogden Nash has written "It's kind of fun to be extinct."

  • @Unbihexium Fun to be extinct? I think not. Given the enormous advances in human rights and sacrifices for same made by my ancestors, one would hope for a greater measure of resilience from the Continent. What horrors await the next two or three generations over there I cannot precisely predict, but their future looks grim, indeed.

  • @TsugaC @TsugaC I know now I was joking with someone really frightened. I am sorry, I accept that. What I ment was more a hope than sorrow, I hope your agnst will relax soon. :) If you are interested, please don't forget to read the whole poem by Oden. (The_Carnival_of_the_Animals) And please, believe me, what is full of life (Telemann and your loved ones e.g.) will last and laugh seing the rotten wanish.

  • @TsugaC (to correct myself, Ogden Nash is the name of the poet)

  • Beloved Hamburg!
