@sergeantclark1 The Skullman 2k7 version by BONES is kinda like this. I.E. superpowered beings and artifacts that hold power. But it's not exactly focused on The Skullman. Then again Witchblade wasn't really focused on the weapon either. Still it's a good show check it out.

I haven't read the comics but I must say that the anime is f**king awesome. The characters make you tune in on every episode. The only thing was that the ending was depressing but oh well it is an awesome series overall. At first I thought the news reporter guy was gonna end up with her but I was wrong. If there was a season 2 they should bring the same characters and the same witchblade because I don't see anyone else fitting them roles. Bring her back to life kinda like mass effect 2! lol.

However, I hate to inform/remind you (And myself -sniff-) that Masane (Who found out earlier that she was just a temporary host) sacrificed herself to drag the Witchblade with her into Oblivion to stop the powerful artifact from seeking out her daughter Rihoko (The host the Witchblade was most compatible with).

Still, I would totally help Cerberus find all the little "stardust" pieces to bring her back to life for a new season:)

Gods, I am about half-way done with this anime and it is one of the best I have seen I think. certainly in my top ten. It made me tear up abit, it's truely sad at points, despite the fact it is pretty softcore sexual.

@Snowstorm379 I agree, but most of the people who don't like it are just comparing it too much to the live-action series. I've never seen the live-action series or read the comics, but personally I like Witchblade, and wish that it had made more episodes. I'm not really satisfied with the ending it got.

Good anime, i think the "cum stains" they get from fighting sorta ruins it though. Don't get me wrong fan-service is nice...but they have hentai if your into that sort of thing, i just wanted to know how a daughter and mother were gonna get out of a bad situation and lived the rest of their lives.
