Absolutely fantastic videos and really well made. Only thing i didnt see was any refrence to Aer Lingus having been a One World member in the past. I might have just missed though.
Very well put together video..I am cabin crew and it was good to look back on a company that I work for and see what it has accomplished to get where it is today..
Its was an MD11 leased and operated from World Airways, mainly operated out of shannon in the States, either JFK or ORD. Some years pervious to MD11 they also leased a Caledonian Airways Tristar (Also in the Aer Lingus colour's) These aircraft were leased in for summer schedule.
You have honestly just answered a question long in my mind here! ... my Dad swears blind that he flew on an Aer Lingus 146 from Stansted to Dublin (which i fully accept) and then on an MD11 from Dublin to Chicago. He videoed it, but somehow the video was lost; I kept telling him EI never had MD11's. You've proven me wrong ... Dad, i've got something to tell you... LOL!
Unbelievable Video.....thanks for posting!! Could watch this all day, i always feel sad when i see the old Aer Lingus 747 at its final resting place. Such a pity we wont ever see a Green and White 747 high in the skys again.
emerates are now going to operate the route from dublin to dubai!

@Shane028 Thanks so much for your comment and yes, it is very sad to see those 747s in the desert, they looked great with the airline.
