Wow, that was a brutal knock out of a top heavyweight. This guy is beyond legit as he also knocked out Peter faster than Wladimir Klitschko. Although some may argue this new era of boxing is boring, it's really just that boxing has grown to the point it is vastly more methodical than ever before.

Helenius is really doing well, but if he wants to be great he's gonna have to step up to a top ranked opponent. Lamon Brewster and Samuel Peter is the toughest competiton he's had in my opinion i think he needs to step it up and take on someone like Ruslan Chagaev or Chris Arreola maybe...but i do think he could be the next big thing

@maxmusian1 are you tryna say lamon brewster is a highly dangerous opponent! hahaha! no pal, helenius fought brewster when he was 37 years old, way out of his prime, that was an easy fight for helenius, samuel peter had him on the floor three times proves nothing, he couldn't finish him, the only top class opponents samuel peter beat was oleg maskaev and james toney, stop comparing everyone to the klitschkos, the klitschkos can be beaten like any other boxer....

@dan4579 yes you are right. big step in deed and now after this he's up to the european title. not taking too big steps. Just as good strategy as he had prepared for the match against Peter last night. What a great fight it was. Sam was in shape and I was kind of nervously waiting for that right hook to land on Roberts face through the match. Good for Robert Peter never really succeeded.

Brewster was washed up on a world level by this point. That said, Helenius is easily among the top heavyweight prospects in the world. He is close to ready for serious contention. About the time Vitali retires I think Helenius will be ready to fight at the top level. It would be a pick 'em fight if Robert were to challenge Haye right now, to be honest.
