i usually like helena but seriously, she ruined Sondheim's work. Johnny didn't go traditional with it, he made it his own but he still gave it the respect and performance quality that it deserves but Helena... she just can't sing, her voice has no power, she's either breathing the words out to reach the high notes or just sreeching them. its sad that she got the part just because she's married to Tim Burton when others could have done a better job. giving Sondheim to movie makers never works.

@SuperNinjaMonkiez I know every song in Sweeney by heart, but then I do learn songs and lines very easily. I recommend watching a lyrics video. Being able to see the words at the same time as hearing the music is really helpful :) This is quite a good song to learn, as it is one of the shorter ones and it is one of the only songs with anything close to a chorus. Good luck with learning the song! :D

Well it was 15+ movie where I live. And it also is a thriller comedy.. so you kind of had to expect gore. ITS A THRILLER! If you see a thriller and can't stomach don't go in the first place. The grudge, The Ring, The descent are all even more horrific heck if you want to see people get there guts ripped out go se ethe descent don't complain about Sweeney's gore. Compared to alot of horoor movies Sweeney is very enjoyable.
