I wouldn't want to be subjected to any of this 'music' while at the beach. Trying to mix the two is, in my view a mistake. The beach is for relaxing and splashing around. Concerts and shows should don't belong.

I was last in LV in 2005, it seems there has been an explosion of building since: The Wynn, Encore, Palazzo, etc. I stayed at the Mirage and it was the best second to Bellagio at the time. Seems there is an over supply in LV.

I have stayed at The Mandalay Bay on two differant Vegas trips and it is a beautiful resort to stay in and I love the beach/pool at the mandalay. It is really awesome and the best in Vegas!

No! The beach is Hotel guest only!

Yes you can. You just have to rent a Cabana. Also sometimes they open the pool to public which everyone can go in with only a small cost.

Awesome pool, the only thing that gets so damn annoying are the very strict lifeguards. They wont let you do anything without peeping their whistles @ u all the time.
