  • WHO IS (WAS) THIS GUY? THANKS.

  • @SkydiverBoni His name’s: FRED GISA RWIGEMA, African most distinguished and accomplished man. He was a General in Ugandan Army ( East Africa ) but he was of Rwandan origin. He and the current Preside of Rwanda ( General PAUL KAGAME) will never be forgotten for their bright plan to pull Africa out of extreme poverty, starting from RWANDA where their parents came from.

  • @kirundo1 ◄ thanks!! hugs from Brazil!!

  • @SkydiverBoni Wow, you're from Brasil! The most beloved country by Africans. We love Brasil for it's a country of peace, character and beatiful people. Rwanda is either the land of civics, character and beatiful women.

  • @SkydiverBoni They suggested to have all educated Army, stop Affirmative action in every aspect of life, move from natural resources based economy to technology based economy, stop singing ethnicity and tribalism, include every body in that transformative politics. He and current Rwandan President General PAUL KAGAME succeeded to recruit and train more than 250.000 educated Army personnel for that utopian ideals.

  • @SkydiverBoni and in October,1990 they crossed by force into Rwanda, after the then Rwandan government had refused them the right to go back to their native country. He was killed by French, Congolese and Rwandan troops just after crossing into Rwanda. But because he was the first General to have recruited more than 50% of his Army personnel with University level education, the revolution went on to the end

  • @SkydiverBoni French Army was defeated for the first time in modern history, after supporting the then Rwandan government that exterminated almost one million Rwandans of Tutsi ethnic, in 3 months, trying to prevent those revolutionary Army from advancing. After heavy French casualties, France withdrew from Rwanda and former Rwandan government soldiers ran to Congo and elsewhere up to this moment, and the genocide was stopped on July 4th, 1994,

  • and the reconstruction of Rwanda as a model in Africa begun. 17 years after, Rwanda is the safest and cleanest country in Africa, set to become the Singapore of Africa by 2020 because the country succeeded to bring back many educated minds from Diaspora more than any African country. They succeeded to eradicate violence and corruption more than any other country on African continent

  • @SkydiverBoni The man who conceived the idea of self-reliance, best health care, civilized society and eradication of poverty in Africa; did not live to witness that miracle. Therefore, he’s considered by Rwandans and many Africans as Moses to Israelis. But He’s most remembered for being the first General to work with CIA while training millions of troops clandestinely without the knowledge of USA

  • @SkydiverBoni After the embarrassing event of CIA to train some one while the trainee is training a third party clandestinely, an accomplished American author of best selling books named: Stephen Kinzer wrote a book about it titled: A Thousand Hills ( Rwanda’s rebirth ) but CIA tried to block it but failed. The book is on Amazone.com. Most of Rwandan today think of those two men ( General FRED and Gereneral PAUL KAGAME ) as God sent Saints.

  • I suggest we erect a statute of RWIGEMA in Kigali town. He was killed during the struggle and died so young but a brave and strugglist who loved Rwanda in his heart.

  • @BYANSIVINCENT Thats a brilliant idea bro.

  • @Babyfacedblackjesus WORD! great suggestion

  • @BYANSIVINCENT word!

  • @BYANSIVINCENT word

  • waduciyemo igikuba shenge ntituzakwibagirwa pe

  • Quelle émotion ! " ... Mbibwire nte unyumva ko uwo nabibwiye ali wowe, ali wowe ugiye"! On perd tous des êtres chers, chanceux ceux à qui ça arrive tard, car quand ça arrive, tout bascule à jamais. Mwihangane mwese abababaye.

  • This song brings those old memories.......mbabare ngirente. This is so real, especially when the person who cares about you, the one you love has left you.

  • Rwigema you were and always will be the hero our whole country holds derest. What you've done for our country lives on in all our hearts. May your beautiful soul rest in peace.

  • Kamarizawe igendere imana iguhe iruhuko .irungu wadusigiye ntirizashira bibabaho.igendere warintwari nshuti.

  • Is that the late Rwigyema?

  • @believer2010ful yes it is! RIP FRED RWIGEMA!!

  • @rwandagirl91 .He is dearly missed.May his saul Rest in Peace

  • yes african people are live forever in my heart.

  • I ope this young man is still alive. I ope i understand meanin.

  • papa wagiye nkigukeneye none ndabona ingaruka zo kutakugira

  • rwanda rwanda .

  • The RPF stopped the genocide of the Tutsi 1994 in Rwanda, as the whole world was unable to do so, watched or even secretly supported it (France).

  • stop that crap. the whole world doesn`t give a shit that niggers exterminate themselves. beside, in a country where the GDP was around 1B with nothing to offer the world, what did you expect. As of the genocide, unless you are illiterate, you should be able to understand the issues at hand: the genesis and apocalyptic result of your country. sad part, even if an other one takes place, no one will intervene!

  • You are a sick person full of racism. By the way you are also wrong assuming me to origin from Rwanda, even it would make no difference.

  • Sorry for mistaking for a rwandan. However, My point is neither racist nor partisan. It's all about realpolitik. You have nothing to give, no one cares about you. We live in a capitalist world you know. If Africa needs to be taken seriously, it should start moving from dependance to independance. Stop generating poverty and become economic powers that manages efficiently its ressources both human and financial. Else, more tragedies are on the way.

  • thats true to a certain extent yet u are taking a pragmatic standpoint that will eventually come back to bite u in the ass. if ur wholly rational then u wud justify the holocaust. the germans having money and power proceeded to eliminate the Jewish people who were outpowered and outsourced, pragmatically, using reason alone like u did above, it is what it is, survival of the fittest, u take no moral standpoint, its like saying that ur father can kill u off whenever he wants

  • You are completely off the topic. The germans didn't kill the jewish people because they had more money and power and that jewish people were outsourced. Hitler using nationalism and racial superiority. as a matter of fact, he preached eugenics and racial purity and jewish as well as blacks and anyone who wasn't aryan were deemed not fit to hinder the german race expansion.

  • screw the historical credibility of the analogy, the point still stands, you take a pragmatic stance, would it be pragmatic for me to kill a human being i dont like? yes it would be. logically it would relieve me of my troubles yet i cannot and you wouldnt because of moral establishments in law. people cannot rely solely on reason, that is why man's brain is equipped with emotion, ever watch the movie Equilibrium with Christian Bale?

  • Don't know what is your point by arguing emotions. one thing I know is emotions brings pity or love.I am not sure if you are talking about love but africans need no pity nor do they need handouts.Yes, a bunch of africans killed and still kill other africans. it is a historical facts and it is also news for hardly a day goes without seeing or hearing some fightings or death out of hunger or deseases. .

  • Get over it, realize that the world cares less if you don't care enough to build stable, stronger and just societies. There is no place for the weak in the current world affairs. So it has been since the days of industrial revolution and so it is in the modern era.More so, i did not create this economic model, however, it serves many nations to advance their economic and social agenda.

  • You may not agree with it but that's your problem. Each day I wake up, I get reminded that we are in a competion with my collegues and our company compete with our competitors and our country compete with other countries for ressources.

  • Therefore, i do not see why you are bringing the jewish issue.Talking of taking a moral stand point, it is inconsequential what position I take and what am sying is that as long as africans will not stand up and find solutions to their woes, they should not keep dreaming that the world loves them such that they will scramble to save them from their auto destruction

  • I agree with Jeannshi, you make a valuable point. Those visionaries who guided us through independence had this notion in mind, that Africans needed to be first and foremost economically independent from the West, but eventually crooks took cover and poverty led to war and there you have it. Many factors contribute to as Jeannshi calls it auto destruction, but the biggest factor is ourselves, we are our worst enemy.

  • man I agread with your great work and I can Value you among the important person and terrible agreament to te man we enjoy & fell proud for our African culture for sure mnanipa raha watu wangu CYPRIAN JOSEPH BOKE ST. AUGUSTINE UNIVERSITY OF TANZANIA.

  • dont say niggers, as much as I admire your intellect i despise the terminology you are deciding to use, its reflective of ignorance.

  • I beg to differ that ignorance is reflected on the account that i used the word nigger.almost 3 centuries the word was used and for various reasons. the fact that it has been replaced by some fancy words does not mean that the core meaning isn't existing and and more so used despite the usage of some sugar coated, selfrighteous and politically correct names. I said loud what is said in whispers and the choice was for a reason. I do apologize if i offended you by it.

  • bro dont veil the obvious insult with the evolution of the meaning of the terminology. we all know the connotation the word has and it is no way shape or form acceptable, it is not a matter of politically acceptable speech but humanely acceptable. the word is highly offensive due to the general attachment it has been dealt with so dont use and u kno it was wron, jus accept it and move on bro, dont try to justify what is evidently wrong

  • I am glad you know the connotation and that's wxactly why the world careless when things go wrong. It's just because it;s africa in other words, it's just because it's blacks killing blacks and you know the meaning of that, it's exactly what I meant

  • However, how can you explain that the african continent has specialized in tragedies and no one seems to care enough to do something to stop it? It is just because it is out of the radar and I leave it to you to guess why.

  • It does help, thank you.

  • Out of ignorance??? wow. so I can't be proud of a great leader??? All I know is if it wasn't for the RFP I would not be alive...I don't know which side you were on at the time so our views of him are different. Sorry if I don't applaud Habyarimana

  • RPA you mean. fact is Kagame didn't do anything, he was never on the frontlines like my father so save me that crap my friend. the problem is that he takes credit for what he didnt do, when Museveni came to Rwanda to commemorate the fallen of 94 he didnt mention Kagame but Rwigema what did you think he was alluding to? The asshole is also a dictator, when the hutu comprise of the massive majority(85%) how do you think that he won in a landslide? use your brain and see whats in your face

  • The election was not a fraud. Or let's perhaps say it was. After all, it wouldn't be an intelligent move to trust a Hutu run governement unless they prove they can without trying to exterminate an entire ethic group like it attempted to in 1994. Hutus have their mind set. As far as I'm concerned, safety and security is first. the heck with fairness if all someone wants to do is to oblirate you. As for Museveni, what he says is irrelevant comparing the two countries' progress. Bless your father!

  • Thanks bro and I am proud to see that you are a patriot and yea you have good concerns yet my argument is with the way the dictator dictates, by sending real men of honour to fight in Ruhengeri while he relaxes in Kigali(my father included). Kagame is also stupid in that he sends our troops to Darfur(4 personal popularity) and then refuses to maintain the warrant on Bashir and lastly, Museveni's words are relevant, he was there from the beginning bro, before our troops even launched their attack

  • Ok here is where i disagree with you. Kagame is a man of decisions. The reason why he refuses to maintain the warrant on Bashir is because he is against ideas of of ICC for only arresting African leaders. Also him sending troops to Sudan is a good moral decision he is already popular. Kagame actually fought in the liberation of Rwanda in 1994 if you read through out all of his stories. I belive the reason why he is on power for so long is because no one has offered a better alternative.

  • lol bro his stories, thats the problem he bullshits about himself, do you see any scars or recollection of his ever fighting plus i dont need to read his stories i've met him many times and know him, his wife and his kids personally. and the above statement shows contradiction still, why wouldnt he want to uphold the warrant if he is fighting bashir? a couple of our soldiers were ambushed a month ago, wtf? think about it. furthermore he is harassing rwigema's wife and has put her on house arrest

  • we just can't agree as we both believe differently however the country is at its best right now that's what matters and the economy still growing just trying to see things from the positive side

  • am sorry to say this but your positive side is blinding you, it might as well be called the ignorant side and you didnt answer about Rwigemas wife. furthermore he arrested Patrick Karegeya for what? the country is at its best because it has been made so not by him, he doesnt do shit, but by men beneath him fighting in darfur, foreign rwandan workers and I have to convince you because the truth is one, there is only one conclusion to kagame, he is either despotic or democratic, he isnt the latter

  • Comment removed

  • Are you sure? isn't about scratch my back I will scratch yours. What if they both share the same worries?

  • It's called paranoia what you are saying. with strong institutions, the rule of law and a just society, Hutus would not try to exterminate Tutsis and Tutsis wouldn't do the same. Problem in Rwanda as well as Burundi, it's a zero sum game. I take over you are dead and this applies on both tribes. Hutus killed and so did tutsis. of course history is written by the powerful and so is rwandan history now

  • First time am seeing a rwandan that thinks outside the box. I do not know why you do not like kagame and neither do i have all the facts about Rwanda but truth be told, you analyse beyond most of your countrymen

  • its not a matter of analysis but a matter of accepting the truth. many people on youtube hide behind a screen and subsequently with the confidence incited and freedom they are given exploit the opportunity in defending worthless causes. we as Rwandans all know the deal.

  • What is she singing? I'm Rwandese but I grew up outside of my country so I don't even speak kinyarwanda, such a shame. :(

Someone please tell me what she's saying.

  • this is soo beautiful oh my gosh !!this song makes me miss my country a lot.

  • Thank you Rwigema, Kagame et tous ces gens qui nous ont libéré de la sauvagerie!!!

  • Do not compleat Dwigema with a dog like Kagame.

  • tho kagame might not be as heroeic...He is done very much for my country...i don't know where you're from

  • lol, where are you from? my friend, kagame nacyo yadukoreye. it was men like Rwigema, Bayingana, Bunyenyezi, Kayitare, Micyo

  • Well you are right. At the time of liberation, Rwigema and others that you mentioned were the inspiration behind the force...but what kagame has done in 15 years is incredible. I am sure Rwigema is proud of him where is in heaven.

  • Nah it is the opposite. I would tell you more if I could, but fact is, its not going to change anything, you dont seem to live in Rwanda, so enjoy the illusion of propaganda.

  • All I know is that Rwanda is better than it ever was. And yes I moved out in 2005...so I don't think it's gotten worse in 4 years...I hope it keeps getting better unlinke most who stand by wishing the worst for a flourishing country like that

  • You are taking things for face value, just like 98% of the people on youtube who comment out of ignorance, but its not your fault, all you can base you information on is the news and other unreliable sources, Rwanda is doing well, but only in comparison toother nations, otherwise Kagame usurps funds like theres no tomorrow!

  • you are a stupid animal

  • who are you talking to?

  • Do not compleat Dwigema with the Dog Kagame.

  • this man always led from the front...so did KAGAME real HEROES

  • Can Someone please write the chorus and explain to me what it meanss.Thank you!

  • Mbabare ngire nte? Mbibwire nde unyumva? Ko uwo nabibwiye ari wowe Ari wowe ugiye Mbabare ngire nte? Meaning: I am sad but what shall I do? Whom shall I talk to, who will listen? As the one I would have talked to is you You who is leaving I am sad but what shall I do? :) hope it helps!
