  • The Guy.

We talked about this over at the other place, with the guy.

The councilman . What the fuck happened to that?

    It Petered Out.

    It died on the vine!

The guy, he moved or something.

    ..

    ..

OH, NOBODY KNOWS WHAT THE FUCK I'M TALKING ABOUT!!!!!

  • "...and our thing"

  • "Certain aspects of showbusiness"= prostitution.

  • Albert made a good character on the show. I wonder why he didn't have a larger role.

  • Break a few heads, shoot a few people, business will improve. Tony's business model resembles the big banks now, only they just kill people less directly.

  • Certain aspects of show business, and our thing

  • the guy

  • As an actor, I appreciate how Sil mentioned the, "certain aspects of show business!"

  • im looking at raymond at watching how he acts, knowing that he was wearing a wire through this whole meeting

  • Would have been funny if Barese repeated something Tony was shouting.

  • @Vidinotes ...Albert

  • @rowdy8888 that's my response for now on...'it died on the vine, the guy...he moved or something'

  • lol don't blame it on the recession

  • undertaking, grave digging and funeral parlors, will never cease to have customers as well.

  • This took place during the 2001 recession, which was relatively mild. I wonder how Tony's crew would weather the current recession.

  • @GlitterMike i think they'd weather it well, as far as the traditional mob staples...gambling, prostitution and drugs are recession proof...as long as people have public assistance checks they will have money to spend for vice...but other aspects of the business may suffer...

  • @Joey123L I would imagine their shy would go through the roof too, i.e. all those people desperately needing money that they can't borrow from banks. However, I'm sure their take from construction would suffer.

  • @GlitterMike What does shy mean it that extortion? or what

  • @jthyflyer "Shy" is short for "shylocking," which is another term for loan sharking.

  • "Shit runs downhill money goes up."-Anthony Soprano

  • tony soprano = pure leadership alpah male behavior

  • Nptice this is one of the very few times where Ralphie just sits there and keeps his smart-ass mouth shut...LOL!

  • @HouseMusicIE

He died ON a vine, not IN a vine.

    DUMBASS!

  • Show business; and our thing.

  • I think my favorite part has to be when Tony reminds them all of their debt to Junior and their faces reflect the insanity of that remark.

  • "Time Imemorial" !

  • If you go back and think about it, Carlo becoming a rat made sense. He was "old school' and was finally was fed up with Tony's philosphy of "money first, family second". From this tirade, to the whole way Tony handled the Vito situation, to the New York issue entirely. Carlo didn't feel appreciated and hence a guy like that is easy to flip. Tony talked that family nonsense, but all he cared about was making money at the end of the day. This was evident in the later seasons especially.

  • @Antrizzle2009 Let me be clear: NO, guy in the Midwest that is operating in the Mafia, Lives in a house like Tonys. Low Key is the way they play it. and listen, they are all cheap, and Stingy to a "T"

  • @rowdy8888 True. Makes me think of those MidWest bosses in the movie Casino, meeting in the back of a meat factory. Undisclosed like a motherfucker.

  • Carlo has the best line: "We hear ya Tone"

  • Frankly im depressed and ashamed

  • Nothing like a little pep talk from the boss!

  • what's this reactions?

  • I think this is the moment Raymond decided to become a rat.

  • @tdv123456 Raymond was already a rat at this point.

  • @tdv123456 Yea he was cause they show him correcting this speech wit the feds

  • @tdv123456 Yeah Ray was revealed to be a rat in the episode where Tony's mother dies, which was around the beginning of season 3 I think.

  • @returnofthepiggsy Ray Curto finally kicked it in an FBI car while saying "I'll testify.." Carlo "disappeared" also in the last 2 episodes in the final season and the last episode Made in America, Tony's lawyer said "someone is singing", so it should be Carlo. Patsy Parisi should have been top capo amongst these rats..

  • Hahaha Ralphie wearing a flag pin, rly random.

  • petered out and died on the vine.

  • Tony goin in on'em

  • lol Tony doesnt respect his elders. He's yelling at Ralph, Carlo, and Ray like they're his kids.

  • @bloodypimphand7 he's the boss!

  • @kukcanoeing Exactly. That's the way this thing works.
