  • when the white race wants to profit from poor people and colored will suffer,THEY DO NOT EVEN CARE IF THEY DIE OF THE COENSEQUENSE , Louis from Holland

  • when the white race wants to profit poor people and colored will suffer,THEY DO NOT EVEN CARE IF THEY DIE OF THE COENSEQUENSE , Louis from Holland

  • I work at this mine and have worked at many in WA. Our Australian economy revolves around mining, and we all enjoy a lifestyle (directly, or indirectly) associated to these boom times. Though compusory cross cultural training (that every single person on any of his sites must attend), I have learned many things about the peoples of the region - which I never had learnt at school or through life. Their is a respect at that company for the land and the peoples, unlike any other WA mine I have seen

  • s a Proud Maori.I would suggest these native people let these miners mine 1/8 of the section employing Mainly Native People Indigenous to the Area Tutoring and giving them the skills to mine the remaining 7/8 for themselves giving yous the knowledge skills -{or have for 50% shares in the Company}...Remember you's have the Gold..Land and Heratige is priceless..hmmmm 6.billion profit and giving 4 millon P.A...FLMAO...have half their company and get your 3-4 billlion a year..yous deserve it..

  • divide and conquer!

    old bushmans trick

  • greedy two tongued snake

  • I think people need to understand that just giving aboriginal people money isn't the solution. We must provide them the support they need to maintain their amazing culture and history as well as allow them to walk equal and if not prouder than white people as there ancestors founded our land.

  • Friend of mine went to school with Forrest. Apparently he used to brag about bashing abos. Seems nothing's changed.

  • Andrew Forrest's respect can be measured clearly by his own bank account

compared to the tiny % he gives back... His 'integration' is undermining .it's disgusting profiteering, manipulation & eco-vandalism.

  • Not appointing a chairperson by the book is ILLEGAL.

  • Twiggy the TYRANT!!

  • If you watch the pathetic attempt by FMG to cover up the events of this footage on they have blocked any comments made. How can you trust these deceitful conniving vultures. To the indigenous people don't be lured by these psychopaths with cheap money, YOUR heritage and culture is far more significant

  • @CheErnestoFuser true, and Twiggies math boils down to those 350 Port Headland Aborigional employees being paid on average just over 77 thousand p/a, Well below averages I have heard within the mining industry! And may I point out that is for WORKING not a handout. Do Aborigional people actually have a choice as to whether their land is mined or not?!

  • @chrismmckay This is sickening, everything FMG has orchestrated from Allery Sandy's opening bringing a western, catholic God into the argument (trumping traditional Aborigional spirits and laws) to Andrews 'heart to heart' and the rest of the discusting facade for greed.

  • One almighty ego, one ore, one sino industrial revolution, one hundred eighty dollars per ton...... One incredible temptation.......many lies!

  • The indigenous people should've had their meeting without the white thugs there. Andrew and his lawyer? Since when does a mining magnate's lawyer have the right to chair a meeting for a plan that they want? God! Imagine this happening anywhere else? In one of the Parliaments of the country for example? Andrew Forest's bullshit about loving aboriginal people almost made me vomit! I don't believe in violence, but I felt like putting his other arm in a 'sling'? Talk about patronising racism???

  • Andrew Forrest did a perfect performance. What he said about himself was a fairy tale. The broken arm was staged. Notice how perfectly he held the microphone with a broken arm. The look for sympathy. The microphone incident at the end should have rung alarm bells with the audience. FMG is a smooth operation. I don't think the Aboriginal people had a clue what they signed away. It's back to the beeds and blankets for land days.

  • I understand that the land is of significant cultural value to the Yindjibarndi people, but I really love how they don't flat out refuse the mining operations, they ask for more money. Fucking typical. If something is that important to you, you can't put a price on it, apparently the Yindjibarndi people just want to exploit the situation to maximise profit margins. Making them just as bad, if not worse than Andrew Forrest himself.

  • @ryan53874 Fucking typical response from ignorant deadshits ...go and get a bit of knowledge first before talking thru your arse...according to current Native title legislation, Aboriginal people do NOT have the power to veto mining, only the ability to negotiate compensation!! Do you work for FMG or are you related to Andrew Forrest by any chance??

  • @joondal123 I've witnessed first hand the problems in communities & I can tell you flat out that people are very willing to do sweet fuck all for handouts & a surplus of money does sweet fuck all to assist the problems in communities, if anything it exacerbates it. The point I'm trying to make is that I am sick of seeing government/corporate funds being exploited whilst drug and alcohol abuse and other issues continue to manifest.

  • @ryan53874 The Yindjibarndi want a fairer payment and to be able to exercise their RIGHT to determine how THEIR communities grow according to THEIR aspirations and not the ambition and ideology of big mining companies with clear commercial agendas because it will only keep them locked in a position of passively accepting handouts.

  • @ryan53874 Furthermore, I too have witnessed first-hand the problems in the suburbs and cities and I can tell you that Aboriginal people are only a small proportion of the Australian population, yet there are statistically more white people who are very willing to do sweet fuck all for handouts too and I’m sick of Aboriginal people being regarded as the only perpetrators when the majority of welfare cheats are non-Indigenous.

  • @joondal123 - Hear! Hear! well said! As a non-indigenous person I feel ashamed by this sort of shit! That's what it is! Shameful!

  • @ryan53874 And what happens to non-indigenous people in other communites who drink too much and don't send their kids to school etc. Are white males in general made out to be paedophiles just because some white men are? Do their families lose their homes and have their income halved? It's racist shit, and a lot of us know it. What did Nabalco do for the aboriginal people at Gove? Didn't even give employment to them as they promised. How many aboriginal people does Forrest employ? Wake up - soon

  • @joondal123 (PART 2)I do not Andrew Forrest or the mining industry in general, but I believe his offer will help reduce problems in communities, more so than cash handouts. There is nothing I would like to see more than an abundance of people from communities getting out, finishing their education, joining the work force and becoming contributing members of society. Right now not very many do & it's a terrible waste.

  • @ryan53874 Here we go again... another patronising white ‘expert’ telling us to suck it up and be thankful for the crumbs so ‘generously offered’ or go without...well this issue is not about taking cash handouts, it’s about demanding EQUITABLE COMPENSATION!!

  • @ryan53874 FMG are going to be making $9billion/year and want to confer a piddling amount of $4 million/year with money tied to an investment in Indigenous employment, as a trade-off for access to land that will not do anything to resolve the problems in the Aboriginal communities involved.

  • @joondal123 I nearly fell of my chair laughing! They're not bad are they? They make $9 billion and give a piss weak $4 million to those people who rightly own the resources? There's no limit to their thuggish behaviour? It's stealing, that's what? When have these billionaires ever put enough money back to the people whose lives are destroyed by their pollution and racist arrogance? Never! This is what the Intervention was about - mining leases! We're a wake up to their devious ways. Stay strong!

  • @nannyomi45 and to think that they hanged Ned Kelly

  • @ryan53874 FMG are going to be making $9billion/year and want to confer a piddling amount of $4 million/year with money tied to an investment in Indigenous employment, as a trade-off for access to land that will not do anything to resolve the problems in the Aboriginal communities involved.

  • @ryan53874 The aboriginal people don't have the power to stop Andrew Forrest. The rules are made by those who benefit from the exploitation of land and resources. So, what can the indigenous people do? Just try and get better deal. If that lawyer had've been able to speak freely, we probably would've learnt what the custodians of the land were entitled to - legally! The Racial Discrimination Act has been repealed in the NT don't forget. Forrest can be his greedy racist self - perhaps, legally!

  • @ryan53874 No, the land isn't of "significant cultural value" it is their life. It's hard for some people to believe that the land and what's above and below it isn't just a way of making millions. To some people its worth can't be measured in dollars and cents. Once it's stuffed up, that's it! Aboriginal people have plenty of experience with these bastards. They're a wake up, and a growing number of non aboriginal people support them. I most emphatically do! I wouldn't feed Forrest!

  • the modern day 'lord vesty' - these anglo-celtic excrement, kick them back to britian from whence the filth sprung

  • Next Forrest will be saying how he was wet nursed by one of their people.......This should not be the Australian way.

  • @MrCuntyballs2U Oh no! please! But, you're right!

  • Make sure to watch part 2 and Like Favourite and Share these vids.

  • Divide and conquer thats how its done.

  • Thanks for uploading this

  • When someone says, I love your people, I love this country, my friends, I have friends ,,, You're about to be hood winked.

  • The Australian Govt couldn;t stand up to big mining interests in WA, but Yindjibarndi mob can! Well done!

13:45 excellent proof of the nature of "negotiation" and "consultation" which big mining has in mind. Fuck off, FMG.

thank you for uploading this excellent video evidence.

  • scumbag

  • @leannetonkes Have you got a stutter? You've posted the same message 3 times. FMG need to make friends because the whole world is watching them and seeing them for the bunch of mongrels that they are.

  • Lawyer = Liar. Luke 11:46-52

  • The Yindjibarndi mob want to make friends not enemies. We believe there has been enough violence and we strive for powerful, peaceful campaigns.

  • ...but... he said he'd love the Yindjibarndi people for giving him their land rights, isn't that enough? ;-)

I really hope this IS taken up in parliament - I hope that wasn't just bullshit...

  • dicussion to block the move is justified. FMG have had record billion dollar profits this year alone. And they think that they can buy our land which is worth more cultural than petty change of 10.5mil. They would make Billions off our land, people that dont have money, are easily persuaded but the prospect of free money. 10.5mil a year is nothing wake up Andrew Forrest. Im sure if rio or BHP offered for the land they would give 5-10times as much.

  • Well this is Totally False. I guess someone from FMG decieded to post up a flase presentation of what actually happened at this meeting. I am a Yindjibarndi/Wadjira man and it breaks my heart the FMG has decieved my people with the promise of money, money which is a gross misrepresentation of what our land is actually worth. Worth in terms of the iron ore its contain / cultural and heritage value. Mr Woodley may not be the right person to represent my fellow Yindjibarndi people but his to

  • Forrest that offer of compensation was grossly unfair. You and your hired crew conduct at that meeting conduct was disgusting. Dismissing an independent chairperson and looking at your motions u must of laughed to your mates upon leaving thinking you got away with it and they were going to buy it...I acknowledge you advocate employment for indigenous in your company but cmon please give these people a fair go and show some respect.

  • Perhaps watch the other video entitled "The True Yinjibarndi Story" before you make any judgments

  • @KieraBlane A giant mining company wants to profit from trawling up the land... What is there to judge other than the extend of the greed of private enterprise?

  • I think that before any of you call anyone a "murderer", you should know the full story. Anything seems despicable when it's presented in such a biased way.

  • @KieraBlane employed by fmg?

  • Lack of chair...chaos. Where was trained facilitator? All sides visibly frustrated, bewildered, fearful. Best part Yindjibarndi people giving welcome msgs. Saddest, watching elder Ned Cheedy rise to his feet and speak. Seems terms of agreement not resolved. Forget the vote. Process takes as long as it takes if u want result to meet everyone's needs. I've decided to complete my faciltation training. Hope others learn from this painful experience and try to heal wounds of people at the 'meeting'.

  • Twiggy is a cunt! So too the same old stupid fucks that sell out their people to a quick supply of cash. Yes Allery and Maudie, Im talking about stupid cunts like you. Just buy them a lunch and tell em a few lies and those bitches will sell anyone out. Seems nothings changed since I was up there last.

Keep up the great work Michael. Im sorry this has happened.

  • Fuck you Andrew.. You self-serving piece of shit.

  • There's one certainty here for both sides, it's about money.

  • Shameful conduct on the part of FMG!! As a non-Aboriginal Perth resident I abhor this thuggish display to clearly dupe the rightful claims of Indigenous people and applaud opposition leader Eric Ripper's move to refer this video to parliament.

  • Any body that thinks Ron Boyers actions in this video are inexcusable should give his office a call an let him know. His office number is 08 9215 0900

  • @webthreaded

Done. Was unable to speak with Mr Boyers himself, but I left a message with his staff.

  • @webthreaded It is despicable that you would put someone's office number up here like this... No matter how strongly you feel about the matter.

  • @fluffybubble18 he has every right to do it.

  • To rape someones land by saying we want your land worth prob over 3Billion in iron ore alone but oh.. we will give you 10 miillion a year. Yeah seems really fair champ. I hope your shares in FMG crash mate.

  • @webthreaded thanks mate ...will do...with absolute pleasure...

  • Andrew Forrest used similar tactics over Karijini lands. He offered great benefit to the elders, and their children had to fight him in court for what was promised. If he brought in people from Carnarvon, the Roebourne Yindjibarndi would know their own people, the stories are shared, and every child is remembered, even if taken away. And Carnarvon is hardly far away. Video's like this will share these stories more widely.

  • At the very least the offer should have been a percentage royalty and/or equity in FMG. What a pathetic cash offer!

  • As an electrical engineer, I will NEVER work for this company. This is most disrespectful, unethical and quite frankly makes me sick.

The problem with the 'rat race' is that the winner is still a rat.

  • THIS is what people should be making australia films about, THIS is what baz lhurman should have included in 'australia'.

    this is BULLSHIT!

  • @paper33 Indeed! I wonder if some people here have read 'Demons at Dusk' about the massacre of at least 28 aboriginal people, including babies and young children by 4 white men at Myall Creek? They're the only whites to be hung for murdering aboriginal people(not that I believe in capital punishment) This book took 20 yrs of indepth research prior to writing. It stayed in my head for weeks after. All Australians should read it!We're just more subtle these days - the same results though!

  • As an Australian of anglo heritage I watch this video and feel deeply ashamed. I see a people (regardless of race) who are having their natural and legal rights ignored and trampled-over for the benefit of business. More disturbingly though is that I see this on you tube and not in the main stream media. My deepest shame is that our society, media and legal system is not raising hell over this. Shame on Twiggy Forrest, shame on the media, shame on our politicians and shame on our legal system.

  • God bless teh interwebz, you can fool some of us, some of the time...you can't fool all of us, all the time. Cujo(Youtubez) bitin them(Elite) in the azzzz. ;)

  • I wish they allowed video at the Badimia meetings. bought and sold. It is a Human Rights violation to demand any individual by law to prove they were dispossessed of land, culture and rights. Absolute insanity and disgusting is what this Native Title Act is. I think everyone should write what they see and video as much as possible and send it to the United Nations now.A true democracy is majority rule with minority rights. Land Rights Now or a real treaty not coercive tutors (white anters) out!

  • Comment removed

  • Yindjibarndi people stand for your rights don't let them steal from you speak what you want not what they want , stay strong all the way to the end their is trillions of dollars in your land and the mining company knows it ,to offer so little for so much is sad , and make them take heaps of the red of the map they showed you all my suport is with you all for the your rights

  • It was time that somebody beats the big drum!

  • instead of bashing innocent white people why dont you send your boys to a meeting with andrew forrest and beat the shit out of him and his lawyers

  • @turborota ..because then white fellas would point thier fingers and say.."typical"..

  • how can someone in the extractions industry talk about the soul of a person?

  • "The more you know Aboriginal people the more you love them..." Andrew Forrest the great white father up to his white fella tricks.

  • Andrew Forrest and his people are using the old "Divide and Conquer". If you let him cause trouble between family he has won. Don't let this happen, stick together and strength be with you.

  • Stick with it people, Andrew Forrest only looks after Andrew Forrest. Either protect your land and heritage or make a deal which would be of benefit for the next thousand years. Honour yourselves and your country, Andrew Forrest will give you nothing

  • have a look at the details of the vimeo takedown as reported on

double-u double-u double-u dot crikey dot com dot au

    /2011/04/14/twiggys-legal-team-native-title-video-incites-racial-hatred/

  • FMG is a disgusting corporation and the legal firm Corser and Corser that represent them are as dispecible as their clients. I have nothing but disgust for FMG and Corser and Corser and my aunty who has shares in FMG now has nothing to do with them. Disgusting.

  • FMG you are completely corrupt. This video made me sick. I cant believe that you can hope to get away with this. Any fair minded Australian would be ashamed that Andrew Forrest is Audtralian.

  • Twiggy's been a naughty boy!

  • Just heard this on 6pr

  • What deceit and lies of FMG and Forrest! Shame on you! I'm bitterly glad this sham is captured for all to see to aid understanding how mining is implicit in genocide. Strength to you Yindjibarndi Aboriginal mob! You stay true!! My absolute respect to those elders who stay so strong for their country and provide leadership for the rest of their community to know that they are right to care for their country.

  • ANDREW YOU ARE A LYING THUG AND HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THE ORIGINEE PEOPLE....FUCK OFF WHY AQRE YOU KILLING THE PEOPLE AND RAPING LAND FOR YOUR GREED???

  • Comment removed

  • @janisthefree ...i don't think that is what Andrew is doing really!

  • ANDREW YOU ARE A LYING THUG AND HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THE ORIGINEE PEOPLE....FUCK OFF

  • and to think i had shares in this company before

  • I knew it, so typical and predictable... let's do something unpredictable in return ;-)

  • This recording clearly shows how FMG is attempting to rob Indigenous people by taking their land and paying them peanuts in return. FMG stacked the meeting with (paid) outsiders, controlled the agenda against the wishes of the traditional owners and refused some people to talk whilst insisting that a vote be taken. It is illegal and decisions made at this meeting are null and void. Shame on FMG and their lawyers.

  • The word is spreading about this bastardry. Gig's up Twiggy you fuck.

  • as members of the Ngarluma & Yindjibarndi Foundation....my two little ones and I are with you all....stay vigilant and strong...we are with you fellas

  • @tanyasbigbrowneyes Me too tanya my friend. This is just appalling. I feel so angry and ashamed! He's a proven liar this bastard and should be made to pay decent taxes like the rest of us. He ends up a billionaire while aboriginal people don't have fresh running water or homes? How's that fair? Disgraceful! Thanks to those who posted this for us all to see. Should be on msm outlets - ABC/SBS etc! Wow! How those people stood up to the bastards. Brought tears to my eyes! Should happen more often!

  • What an absolute act of bastardry by FMG - Twiggy Forrest - this video is here for all to see including the Native tittle Tribunal.

Well done to the Yindjibarndi Aboriginal Corporation for putting up a good fight - It is your land and you cannot be dispossessed of it twice. Enough is enough.

  • remember that time we said Andrew "Twiggy" Forrest and Generation One were full of shite?

  • Shame, Twiggy, Shame. It will take something spectacular to upstage this as the biggest act of bastardry in 2011!

  • "They put up a poster saying 'We earn more than you'"

    Working for the Clampdown.

    ~

  • The video has disappeared from vimeo - good to see it here. Could anything be more sickening? It's like something from the early colonial days - beads, blankets and mirrors swapped for EVERYTHING.

    Thanks for posting it
