  • It was a so nice interview. But the brazilian singer was a little bit nervous, so she couldn't express herself better. Even when she spoke in brazilian portuguese.

  • isso é deprimente. if you don't know the language, you DON'T use it. i'm ashamed of being a brazilian right now.

  • thank you very much Qtv for having Luisa Maita on your program! i was fortunate enough to see her and her band perform live a few months ago in Chicago! it was something really special to see and hear such a talented up-and-coming artist that is bound to do great things in the music world! i really liked this interview, thanks again!

  • I'm portuguese so here is a translation for the aswer given in portuguese:

    Luisa Maita:

"What I think is that... I enjoy a lot to be brazilian. So I belive a lot in my own culture and in our own way of doing things.

We had now a brazilian president (Lula da Silva) that has done the government that he has. (prosperous and social concerned)

So for me... I belive a lot in my own people... I think that's what I have to tell"

I hope this to be helpful. Thanks for the show!

  • @mfpleite Thank you for the translation and for your thoughtfulness

  • Love that Jian gave her room to answer a question in Portuguese when she struggled with the English. Shows a good perspective on how broad his audience is or could be.

  • @twstdelf The show was recently picked up by a major broadcasting network for international distribution. This show is now viewed by tens of millions.

  • @ariexmae That's great news! I really enjoy this show myself.

  • @twstdelf Portugal here...understanding what she said.

I love how Jian has the name of songs on his screen and how the name is pronounced eheh
