Radiohead, Queen, Muse, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, The Beatles, U2, Coldplay, and R.E.M are often compared with each other. In my opinion, I can see why this is, but I have always seem them all as different, except for Coldplay and Muse (they are the REAL posers, if anyone is). Although, Radiohead, I believe has the most unique style of all of them, Johnny Greenwood and Thom Yorke compose, write, and play songs In a style that bands such as Coldplay and Muse have tried (AND FAILED) to imitate.

@blood666fall Muse's first album Showbiz is the only thing that has sounded remotely like Radiohead. They have done just fine with their other albums. They've played Wembley Stadium 4 times now. They didn't intentionally copy Radiohead on their first album, although they have admitted that The Bends is a big influence on them. Listening to Muse's later albums, it's more of a Queen/Rage Against The Machine hybrid. They are their own band, but they pay a lot of respect to their influences.

Muse are the bratty lovechild of Radiohead and Queen, they are ok but they are never going to be as good as either of those 2 bands.

the Muse vs Radiohead debate is like the Coldplay vs U2 debate, it's pointless... they are all different and every person will have different opinions on each...If Radiohead had continued along The Bends/OK Computer route they would be absolutely massive now, but went all experimental and downhill in my view, Muse have stepped into their place, but their is room for both of them...

It has no soul. What's more, the song just appears to be about defining the term 'stockholm syndrome' itself, only utilizing trashy, cliched lyrics.

I'm sure if you're a fan of hard rock and heavy metal (and you're an angsty teenager) then Stockholm Syndrome is probably the Best ThiNg EvaR!lolz

But some people just appreciate more subtle and defined music, that doesn't make use of the louder=better mentality.
