This is good. I'm sick and tired watching videos that explain everything slowly like to an ape. From this you can see all that needs to be seen and everything else is common sense.
THANKS FOR SHOWING ME , I DID IT SO FAST I SLIT THE TUBE IN THE INSIDE THANKS PRO. 50 CENTS FOR LEVER new tube 12 dollars having a PRO teach you dumb shit on youtube and you actually doing it PRICELESS FOR EVERYTHING ELSE THERES Quik SHIT I MEAN Quik Stik THANKS PRO
You can rip that tire off the rim with your bare hands. You should only use his method if your in a road race where you need to change a tight road tire. The sliding of the lever adds the risk of tearing the bead of the tire and/or pinching the tube.
Hell, I can do a tire and tube swap just as quick with a standard tire lever (though I know the 'quickstick' actually works)... but why use the tire lever to get the last part of the bead on the rim.... that part works better by hand
Also in a real case scenario you would need to check the inside of your tire to make sure there isn't anything in there that could puncture the tube again. It would not be so fast if he did it properly.
Why can't I just do this with a single lever that I already have... I can't see why this is so different that you only need one...
Regarding levers to put back on, for tight tyres, you kind of need the help sometimes, if you inflate tyre slightly inside it should hold out the way enough, of course sliding the lever around is not the way to do it to avoid pinching...
You don't actually need a tool to change the tire. You can quite easily remove the tire from the rim just with your bare hands. Takes a bit practice but its a much faster than with a tool. Works almost any tire.
quikstick only works on certain tires. If the tire's too tight on the rim, it doesn't work. Trust me. I had to get steel levers when the bead was too tight. The quikstick is too fat and doesn't provide enough leverage to yank a tight bead off a rim.
Using a flatbead screwdriver is actually an awful method. I used to do it until i took my wheel to get fixed and the guy fixing it called me out on it. I don't even know how he knew.
I can do it faster with a triple wall rim, and a badly fit tire, I can do that in about 45 seconds, and I actually change the tube, I don't use tools, besides a quick tube filler.
rubbish, this is not a race wheel nor a race tire.... lets see it work on a kevlar tire please!

do that shit with a road bike tire. i bet it wont be so easy and that fast. Road tires are a bitch to get sometimes depending on the manufacture,

alexw1234546 1 year ago
@alexw1234546 Really? Then how do you get the bead off the rim?
packoftwenty 1 year ago
I like it on most MTB tires and old 27" wheels. It doesn't work on some rims/tires combinations.

just use a ZTR olympic rim, mine has walls so low, i dont even need tyre levers to remove steelbeads tyres
Hellvin 2 years ago
not that fast...
in a real case scenario it would be a new tube which is sticky as hell and catches on the rim/tire. Easiest way is to use some baby powder.
Also this tire isnt that tight a fit, Ive had some beads that are so tough that you bend the rim when changing tubes. WITH a tire lever.

you shouldnt use tyre levers to put the tyre back on! you give risk of pinching the new inner tube!
homsey 2 years ago
It's nothing more than a tire lever. And this is not a race. Take your time to avoid pinch flats.
Tommyr 2 years ago 32
yeah sure, try to put a michelin or a vittoria tire with the same method, you will be cursing in no time....
superbagner 2 years ago 5
are you fucking kidding me, only dumbasses would put a tire ON with a tool. it is soooo easy to pop a tube that way.
