If it is before 40 days it is completely halal regardless of the reason, as the child has no soul so there is no murder...I don't see why anyone would say otherwise. If it is after 40 days it is haram unless the mother has medical issues with giving birth to the baby. This logic shouldn't be hard to understand.

@keepitreal17 ur wrong it doesnt say anywhere in the quran tht taking an innocent's life is okay except if the mother is unwell.......if u think ur right than plz my sister or brother provide us with proof...dont kill an innocent...plz go look in the quran n checkurself....plz dont commit a sin like this, n understand the responsiblilty that parents must take whether a baby is born or not. If u cannot understand this responsiblilty thn abstinence is the key

Zainab was was married to Zaid, but the marriage was not happy one. Allah ordered Prophet Md to marry his own daughter in law, after Zaid divorced her. In Islamic adoptation laws one cannot adopt an orphan,can only act as caretaker. Such an adopted son, can marry your own daughters

Mash'allah, i agree with Dr.Zakir Naik.. but what i don't understand is that where do people get that idea that after 40 days it is not valid, but before it is. if anyone could answer that question for me.. i will be very grateful.

they say 40 days because that is when the soul is blown into the baby and it is termed as being a human being, before this it is an embryo, fetus etc
