@TheDarkKnightBatMann If is the biggest little world in the English language.Ought doesn't presuppose ability either. The Bible speaks the truth when it says if any man repents & trusts Christ alone for his righteousness he will be saved, but from God's perspective all that He chose to save will repent & trust Christ for their righteousness, this is guaranteed, but we just don't know who the elect are.God chose His sheep for His own reasons,we may never know why,we just know it's true.
@CBALLEN You remind me of Bill Clinton arguing about the meaning of is. This verse totally denotes ability. Stop believing evil doctrines which make you say illogical things.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann You just continue to prove that you neither believe in THE God ,THE Scriptures or THE gospel,it's all foolishness to you.You and your "church" meet only to worship a humanist creation that you call god & jesus. You all have a preconceived notion of who God should be,in your OPINION and then you mold all scripture to try and make it fit.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann What do you do with scripture that makes your doctrine inconsistent?Take 2 Peter 3:9 for example, why would God be patiently waiting for people to"get saved"when He knew before time they never would? Did God forget who the sheep and the goats would be?
@TheDarkKnightBatMann "You calvinists think you know everything. But you don't. And you never listen to anyone, because you are too proud."
"Intellectual pride is something I have noticed infests Calvinists."
So you call intellectual pride showing you what the Bible actually says? When the Bible is used in context that means opinions are taken out of the way. What you have a problem with is God and His word, your opinion is different than what God says and that's what makes you mad.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Humanism and Arminianism have a singular goal, and that is to dethrone God, and enthrone man. In both systems the sovereignty and authority of God over man is abrogated; man becomes the sovereign and God the suppliant; and man is the exclusive determiner of his eternal destiny. The doctrine of the sovereignty of God is so hateful to Humanism and Arminianism, they have mustered all the resources of carnal sagacity in an effort to find deficiency in the God of the Bible.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann The Apostles of the Lord have warned His churches, saying: ". . . There should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lust . . . having not the Spirit" (Jude 18, 19). These vain mockers are shut up to degenerate wisdom, and being bound by their finite intellect, cannot conceive of God as being any more than themselves, and say in their hearts: "We will not have this man to reign over us" (Luke 19:14).
@CBALLEN This has nothing even to do with this discussion. What I find interesting is how you responded not to the comments concerning pride. You must be a very proud man. You arrogance is a sin against God. Your unteachable spirit will be judged. God is merciful to you, but the day of judgment is coming.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Arminianism, like Humanism is a religion without the God of the Bible, but it is not god-less, for this creature exalting system contends that man is the exclusive determiner of his own destiny. Therefore, like Humanism, every man is in and of himself a god.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Oliver B. Green, recently deceased, but while as yet living was one of the most fervent advocates of Arminianism. Speaking of the sovereignty of God, predestination, election, and irresistible grace, said: "They are some of the rankest and some of the vilest doctrines I have ever heard."
@CBALLEN He wasn't Arminian either. And I've met probably 10 different people who trusted in Christ because of his radio station. You shouldn't mock someone who has led more souls to Christ than you or your Calvinist bookwriters have or ever will.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Man can only draw man to a false Christ, unless the Father draw a man to Christ he is not saved. There are gods many and false Christs, but ONLY One true God by nature.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann If man's destiny is left to Arminianism or Humanism, God will be defeated and heaven deserted. But perish the thought, for the Sovereign and infallible Creator of the universe says: "He worketh all things after the counsel of His own will . . . And as I have purposed, so shall it stand" (Eph. 1:11; Isa. 14:24).
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Humanism does not recognize the God of the Bible as an authority in any matter, and Arminianism disavows the authority of God in all things. If God is not sovereign in all things, then He is not sovereign in any thing, for that which He is not sovereign over, is the sovereign of all things, including God.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Arminianism is nothing more than Humanism with a religious veneer, the combination of which is the ultimate subterfuge of the devil. Both systems are an eternal offense unto God, and it would be far better to have never been born, than to live and die trusting these God scandalizing errors for salvation from sin. So, let us not limit the Holy One of Israel. (Psa. 78:41), for His omnipotence is absolute, and no satanic ruse can in any wise hinder or disturb Him.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Humanism teaches that man as he is in nature is a moral giant and of infinite worth. Arminianism teaches the same thing, saying: "God valued man so highly that He sent His Son to redeem the whole family of man." Conversely, the Scripture says: "They have all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one" (Rom. 3:12).
@TheDarkKnightBatMann "The flesh profiteth nothing" (John 6:63). But no matter how well defined the words of Christ may be, they have never made a favorable impression on Arminianism, and this pseudo system says: "God needs us, for we are the only feet, hands, and mouth God has." Poor handicapped God. But their god is not the God of the Bible.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann To the natural man, God saith. "Thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself"(Psa. 50:21). This is the ultimate of evil thought, and manifests the utter and awful depravity of the human mind, and its fearful disregard for the unimpeachable holiness of God.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Humanism and Arminianism contend that the only thing wrong with man is: he needs a little more education. The unfavorable query is: Where is it that man can get this cure-all education? If we send our children to public school, they are inundated with humanism. If the family attends an Arminian church, it is deluged with the pernicious doctrine of self salvation.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Humanism and Arminianism teaches that one of man's most destructive flaws is to mistrust himself. In countering this fallacious elevation of the native intellect of man, Paul says: "We rejoice in Christ, and have no confidence in the flesh" (Phil. 3:3). Christ, speaking of regeneration, declares: "it is not of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God"(John 1:13).Yet the Arminian teaches the opposite,"salvation is only by the will of man."
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Arminianism says: "Man has the intellectual power to choose eternal life or death, and that every man is given ample space to make up his mind in this vital matter". But Christ says, speaking of the natural man: "Ye will not come to Me that ye might have life" (John 5:40). Speaking of the utter impotence of man's natural will, Christ says: "No man can come to me . . ." (John 6:44).
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Arminianism's declaration of the absolute independence of man's will is tantamount to saying, the fruit of a tree has a nature of its own, which is altogether free of the root of the tree. The fruit of a tree is invariably determined by the character of its root. Genealogically, Adam is the root of mankind, and when Adam committed spiritual suicide (Gen. 3:6), his progeny died in him.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Humanism and Arminianism contend that the will of man is free and independent of God, and it is of such power that it can frustrate and nullify the will of God. Therefore, this premise teaches that the ultimate in all things is left to the reasoning power and will of man. So, it inevitably follows, their faith is in man, and that man in the final analysis is the measure of all things
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Arminianism is the choice gem of religious ignorance, and Humanism is the idolized brainchild of intellectualism. The two "isms" in their combined strength, are nothing more than tinkling cymbals and sounding brass.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Every religious heresy is of the Devil, for he is a liar and the father of it (John 8:44), and Arminianism and Humanism are his prize deceits. The word "and" used in the foregoing sentence is not used merely as a conjunctive, but to show the parity of the twin evils.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Arminianism and Humanism; These God debasing systems are as ancient as Lucifer's first "I will"(Isa. 14:13, 14), and will not reach their terminus until the Devil, the originator of these fatal deceptions is cast into the everlasting lake of fire (Rev. 20:10). The foundation upon which Arminianism and Humanism stands is not merely defective, but is utterly faulty, and all who are deceived thereby are not wise, but foolish (Rom. 1:21,22)
@TheDarkKnightBatMann All men all the time are by their Adamic nature haters of God (Psa. 81:15; John 15:18,25; Rom. 1:30; etc.). God does not force His people to come to Him contrary to their will and nature, but God in sovereign love and mercy gives His people a new nature, and all the Father gave the Son in the unconditional covenant of election will joyfully come to Him, and that by the power of God (Psa. 110:3; Jer. 31:3; John 6:37, 44).
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Arminianism denies that salvation is the exclusive and sovereign work of God, and Humanism has substituted self-love and self-will for God. "COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM," SAITH THE LORD.
@CBALLEN You really are nuts, aren't you? You are showing signs of paranoia... and mania... And, your problem is that you are intellectually proud, and worship the humanistic doctrine of calvinism.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Well,I may be nuts, but I still want to warn people about the false god of Arminianism.Satan's best counterfeits are the closest to the real thing and a rule of thumb is,any god that a natural man can choose to believe in is a false god.The god and gospel that you learn about at your "church" is as false as any Mormon,JW or,Muslim god.
@CBALLEN No, your puppetmaster is a false God who sends people to hell because it makes him look good. Islam actually teaches predestination too.... coincidence? I think not.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Psalm 105:24-25And the LORD made his people very fruitful and made them stronger than their foes. whose hearts he turned to hate his people, to conspire against his servants. Now who was it that hardened The Egyptians against His people?God Himself.
@CBALLEN Read the whole passage for once. Quit using scissors on your Bible. And quit approaching the Bible through the veil of calvinism. You don't study the Bible; admit it, all you study is false doctrine, and look at Bible passages to attempt prove your wrested thoughts.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann The so-called Christian Church is utterly permeated with Arminianism, and the political and educational world is overrun with secular Humanism. Pseudo Christianity and Humanism will soon merge, for it is not difficult for two systems to merge when they are so much alike and their goals and ends are the same -- and that is the glorification of man.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann The rantings and ravings of Arminianism and Humanism is nothing more than the rattling of their chains of degradation and death with which they are sovereignly bound. Arminianism says: "Sinners go to hell because God Almighty Himself could not save them! He did all He could. He failed"
@TheDarkKnightBatMann We don't listen b/c we have already listened and learned! Why should we go back through it all again. I have already laid Calvinism and Arminianism side by side Scripture to Scripture. Calvinism wins hands down! You have nothing new to offer me, to make me rethink the argument.
@WCOFTheology The truth is neither Calvinism NOR Arminianism. That is news to you. Think about it for a while. Go read your Bible. Ditch your books o' false doctrines.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann You dummy, there is NO other systems of theology but Calvinism or Arminianism, YOU are either one or the other or a mixture of the two.
@WCOFTheology You are totally wrong. And your anger betrays an arrogance and prideful wrath which belongs in no believer. You are blind in your unteachability. "Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge; but he that hateth reproof is brutish."
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Anger??? ROFL!!! OoooH! I am being taught ALL the time, I learn from the Scriptures, I just am not going to be taught by YOU!!!! LOL Why are YOU so arrogant to think YOU can teach me? I think it is YOU that is prideful!!!
So please enlighten me with YOUR NEW theology that is not a mixture of Arminianism and Calvinism, maybe it is some other heresy that has raised it's ugly that has already been dealt with in history. Heresies do seem to cycle back around, nothing new!
@WCOFTheology Hey Jeff, you or Zack could use this "perditious preacher" and many real preachers of the truth in loads of side by side comparisons,Lauderdalebaptist has got tons of false teaching that can be exposed this very same way. Then maybe his congregation will watch them and can start understanding the truth.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann I'm just trying to show you God doesn't look down through time to see (learn) the future,He planned the future before time ever began, and then He calls it to be and it is.Man does not have control over --anything---,especially his own salvation,--God establishes every step of every man---- and still holds him accountable----,because men freely do--- all --that the Lord --has decreed to happen. .
1 Corinthians 2:14 The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
@CBALLEN You just painted your puppetmaster as the biggest jerk of all time. He makes people do something just so he gets to punish them for doing what he made them do. I suspect you are deep inside bitter at God because of this.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann This is why people tell you that you don't really know God and why they tell you that the god of the Arminians is not the God of scripture, but you haven't been studying to show yourself approved. The god you believe in has his will thwarted at almost every turn by man,he's the failure god who can only try,it's up to his creatures to determine what happens next.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann "Keep on criticizing. You'll be pretty embarrassed at the Judgment Seat of Christ."
It's called correction, teaching, reproof and training in righteousness.Calling God a jerk, wicked and evil is not very Christian of you and your "preacher",so you have to be answered with scripture. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
Calvinism is a false religion from the pit of Hell.....run away from it!! It is 'another gospel'.....repent of Calvinism!!! Christ died for the sin of the whole world.....1 John 2:2.
This goes to show that you still are deceived by the traditions of men, because you're saying that believing the doctrines of Grace, which are 100% true, will send one to Hell, but If you're wrong,it's you who will be damned, isn't this true?If The God of scripture is the Calvinists God,then the Arminian god is an idol and you hate the real God.
@willpower242 Don't worry about Calvinism,I just heard 27 who attend James White's church and 31 at John McCarther's church committed suicide just last night,at that rate there won't be any around in 5 years. This Pastor Price has it all together doesn't he,I mean that man is a living prophet,it's almost like he has a direct line to God,Don't you think?
@TheDarkKnightBatMann "Who hardened Pharaoh's heart before God did?' blind followers,"Pharaoh did!"WRONG! God told Moses what to tell Pharaoh and then God told Moses."BTW,I'm going to harden his hearts so he won't do anything you ask.
@CBALLEN You never even read Exodus, did you? Read Exodus, and come back and tell me what you found about the character of God. How often do you read the Bible? How much do you read the Bible in comparison to your Calvinism books? Who is a better author, John the Apostle or John MacArthur? Or Pink, Owen, Sproul, or the other Calvinists Calvinists like to parrot?
@TheDarkKnightBatMann What I've found in Exodus doesn't match what your preacher and all of his blind followers have found,my Bible said God told Moses that he was going to harden Pharaoh's heart before Moses ever spoke with Pharaoh in Exodus 4:21.Can you show me where it said Pharaoh hardened his heart before that?
@CBALLEN Pharaoh had hardened his heart bby enslaving the people. But you didn't actually read Exodus, did you? All you Calvinists I've ever talked to only ever read, know, study, or talk about the parts they have twisted into teaching their false doctrines.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann You're so messed up theologically, your preacher is so messed up theologically, your whole church is so messed up theologically. One thing you all have in common is you all hate the God of the Bible.I pray some day He will reveal Himself to you,but as of now you don't know Him.
@CBALLEN The problem is that we are this way because we are predestinated to be this way. We would believe right, but puppetmaster has foreordained us from before the foundations of the world to believe wrong. Puppetmaster has ordained that you should debate me, but that your debating should never work, because I am predestinated to believe wrong, that puppetmaster might be glorified,
@CBALLEN The problem is that we are this way because we are predestinated to be this way. We would believe right, but puppetmaster has foreordained us from before the foundations of the world to believe wrong. Puppetmaster has ordained that you should debate me, but that your debating should never work, because I am predestinated to believe wrong, that puppetmaster might be glorified,
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Actually the Bible says it was God who caused the Egyptians to treat His people badly to begin with. They had forgotten what Joseph had done and madeIsraelites throw out their newborns, did you know this?
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Deuteronomy 26:6 But the Egyptians mistreated us and made us suffer, putting us to hard labor.
Psalm 105:24-25And the LORD made his people very fruitful and made them stronger than their foes. whose hearts he turned to hate his people, to conspire against his servants.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann So God turned Pharaoh's heart and the Egyptians heart to hate His people even before Moses or this Pharaoh were born.So again you're wrong.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Exodus 1:8 Then a new king, who did not know about Joseph, came to power in Egypt.
Acts 7:19 He dealt treacherously with our people and oppressed our forefathers by forcing them to throw out their newborn babies so that they would die.
The Pharaoh that did this was not the Pharaoh Moses dealt with,Moses was to be one of the new borns to be Killed.
@CBALLEN You didn't prove anything. I am beginning to think that you have driven yourself nuts in your Calvinism. Ever heard of Don Alonzo Quijano? He went nuts reading weird books too.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann I would urge you to leave your "church" and find one that teaches the truth instead of one who calls the God of the Bible wicked and evil.
@CBALLEN My church does teach the truth. And it calls your puppet master wicked. And your puppet master's prophet, John Calvin, wicked. So, my church is a great church.
@TheDarkKnightBatMann . The rantings and ravings of Arminianism and Humanism .Humanism says: "No Deity shall save us, we must save ourselves" (The Humanist Manifesto). The Scripture says that Jesus Christ was God manifest in the flesh (I Tim. 3:16), and that "He shall save His people from their sins" (Matt. 1:21).
The Arminian preacher on this video is the typical Fundamentalist who denies being an Arminian. He doesn't have a clue. It is totally illogical to assert that if God withholds grace from one and gives it to another, He is evil. But then, Anderson is not known for his logic or exegetic skills. After all, we are dealing with a nut who thinks Jesus wore pants LOL
God bless you Zack! How have you been brother? Great job as usual!
If God has already chosen who will be saved, does it really matter who is right and who is wrong? If you look at the comments, no one will budge on their position because everyone thinks they are right. Maybe God doesn’t care if we have all the answers or he might have come down to clarify things himself. Then again, maybe there isn’t a personal deity and everyone is just flexing their theological muscles to help hide their own doubts regarding salvation.
Sadly, today's Pelagians will be tomorrow's atheists unless, of course, the Holy Spirit intervenes. This pastor sounds like a Fundamentalist, and, if that's the case, they categorically deny total depravity. They'd die on a hill in defense of man's alleged innate ability to accept or reject Christ as Savior. I've never seen a Calvinist become a fatalist, as this pastor alleges, but I've seen plenty of Arminians become atheists though.
If anyone denies Biblical predestination by saying that God only hardens people's hearts when they harden their own (Mark 4:10-12), ask them this: "WHAT MADE THE DISCIPLES ANY DIFFERENT?" They were just as sinful as the rest of the crowds who saw Jesus yet never believed. In fact some of them were worse: Simon the Zealot was a murderer, Matthew was a thieving tax collector, and Peter was a vacillating coward. Why didn't God harden THEIR hearts and reveal Himself to 'better' people?
@AchillesShield LauderdaleBaptist says that God hardened Pharaoh's heart for a reason. So? THE FLESH CAN DO NOTHING BUT HARDEN ITSELF TO THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD: "The sinful mind is hostile to God. IT DOES NOT SUBMIT TO GOD'S LAW, NOR CAN IT DO SO. THOSE CONTROLLED BY THE SINFUL NATURE CANNOT PLEASE GOD (Romans 8:7-8). Every unregenerated sinner hardens his heart before God, without exception. Rather than ask: 'Why does God harden hearts?' we should ask: 'Why SHOULDN'T God harden everyone?'
Many say that Arminianism is a dangerous heresy. I cannot say this. The sad fact is, many who proclaim to be Arminians today are really not Arminians. Rather, they are self-righteous, humanistic Pelagians, whose doctrine has done major damage to Christendom. Pelagianism is a damnable heresy! This is NOT the God of the Bible, but the "god" of man. The famous heretic, Charles Finney is to blame for this confusion. GOD BLESS YOU ALL! TO GOD BE THE GLORY! AMEN! ~GET THIS COMMENT TO THE TOP~
A decision to accept Christ is not based on intellect but rather spirit. We are given commands to follow, and others to resist. So yes, our salvation depends on what we do once our slate of sin is washed clean. Repentance is a choice. Being baptised is a choice.
Jesus knocks, and we have a choice to let him in or ignore the knock.
The dragon only makes war with people who keep God's commandments AND their testimony of Christ.
@zkueker88 Pt 2 Does judgement day take place the day you accept Christ? Did judgement day take place before creation?
What does God consider on judgement day? For according to you there is nothing to consider come judgement day because the decision was made by Christ long ago.
The Arminian would have us believe that Jesus Christ died to save everyone, at least to make everyone saveable. A potential salvation based on what christ did. No matter how the Arminian says it, it all boils down to the fact that they believe their salvation is a matter of something THEY do, in addition to what Jesus did. They take credit for their "good decision". It is something for them to boast, to them, it's what makes them different from the lost. But that's not what Jesus & Paul said!
@JesusIsTheOneWay Arminiasm is errant attributing goodness and power of faith to man in the flesh. Yet, Jesus destroyed Satan on the cross. The power of the cross to destroy evil is UNLIMITED. When Jesus destroyed the devil himself (Hebrews 2:14), Jesus destroyed all darkness and evil - all sin. When Jesus returns, Satan is fully destroyed. The cross is UNLIMITED therefore in redemptive power - though only the elect are saved in this life - called out -- predestined.
@WCOFTheology You have to order the whole Debate from Alpha & Omega Jeff. This is my favorite closing statement by James White,it's custom made for those like Lauderdalebaptist and is the reason why George Bryson won't debate Bro.JAMES ANYMORE.
Finally, while the Torah addresses various issues and a person is expected to know the Torah, there are commands that only apply to a person specifically. A man doesn't menstruate or give birth, but that person is expected to know those commands because part of those commands apply to him if he is married to a woman. Likewise, a woman cannot be a husband, but must know the commands pertaining to a husband to keep him on the path.
@zkueker88 a person can only post 500 characters per message. You are confusing an explanation with spam. While it is obvious you disagree with the information I presented, don't make false claims by misapplying a label.
Furthermore, predestination claims that certain people are called out while the rest are left to perish. The truth is that anyone can choose to become righteous by responding to the call to repent and live righteous by observing the Torah of יהוה, not the traditions of the Pharisees called the Talmud, Mishna, Hallakah, etc. The Torah of יהוה is found in Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. Any command, law, statute and instruction spoken or inspired by יהוה is Torah.
Predestination is a theological claim that is in verifiable contradiction to the Scriptures. Exodus 12:49 says there is one Torah (commonly called Law) for the native-born and the stranger that sojourns among you. The Torah is the standard of righteousness established by יהוה was established for EVERYONE, not just the people יהוה set apart starting with Abram (later called Abraham). When someone says the Torah has been done away with, that person is contradicting Matthew 5:17-18.
Why is there even a debate about predestination and election? It's obviously not important to God, otherwise he would have been more clear about the topic.
*I am not cynical nor ungrateful. I think this guy is possessed -- slandering Calvinists. It's just evil slander. I don't want to hear more of this tape -- hearing this guy slandering calling God evil. What a wicked statement. I like hearing James White -- but I don't want to hear this wickedness of this evil man saying Calvinists are depressed and God is evil. James White is preaching well -- but exiting this tape. God bless.
@graceexplosion I actually didn't watch this video. Can you please tell me at what time in the video he makes the statement "God is evil?" That I'd like to see!
@1GodOnlyOne It's fairly soon in. at 2 or 3 minute mark. I don't want to see it again. It's blasphemous. I saw on your page that you believe in One God. But, do you believe Jesus is God and the Son of God?? Do you believe Jesus came to die for our sins and rise again the 3rd day?? And ascended into Heaven? Are you a born-again believer in Jesus Christ??
Actually, my channel does not advocate belief of any kind. My approach is knowledge-based, which I think is more potent than belief. The reason I say this is that my knowledge about God are backed by solid evidence and arguments, but beliefs don't require evidence or arguments. I don't mean to nitpick, but this is an important distinction for me.
@1GodOnlyOne Well, by faith we know the world was formed by Him. I see you believe God created the earth. I truly hope that God is working in you by His Spirit -- and that you come to see and know that Jesus is God and the Son of God -- died for our sins, rose again on the 3rd day and is ascended at the right hand of God the Father. God bless.
@1GodOnlyOne 1 Peter 2:7Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, 8And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed (predestined). (God definitely does choose to send ppl to hell - predestines them. But, they came from hell. They're the devil and his angels.)
@1GodOnlyOne Believers are saved and go to Heaven. Unbelievers are damned. John 3:18
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (As you see -- they are "pre-condemned". Predestination is substantive. Those who go to hell were already damned in substantive predestination. They're the devil and his angels. They came from hell, were made men, and go to hell.)
@1GodOnlyOne Yes, John 3:18 does say that. Those who do not believe in Jesus are condemned and go to hell. Those who believe are saved and go to Heaven. John 5:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (We gain eternal life by grace through faith. Those who do not believe are pre-condemned and go to hell.)
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (Are you serious in saying you cannot see in scripture that unbelievers go to hell?? The Bible is understood line upon line precept upon precept. Unbelievers are condemned to hell; pre-condemned.)
@graceexplosion You have failed to provide a single verse that even mentions the word "hell" at all, what to speak of one that states that God chooses to send people there, so you are clearly mistaken.
God clearly does not choose to send people to hell, and when you say that you think God is evil, you are mistaken.
@1GodOnlyOne You know what I find interesting?? Is that you don't believe in Jesus, you are not saved, you are not born-again -- yet your doctrine is just the same as the man who says God is not Sovereign and in control. An unbelievers doctrine??
@1GodOnlyOne A belief from God's Word is a "doctrine". Every belief is a "doctrine". You and I (I assume since you are an RP supporter) do not agree with what is called the "Bush doctrine" of pre-emptive wars (wars of aggression). So, that is a belief set forth as principle - called a doctrine. "Sovereign" means in control. You seem ambivalent. If God is in control -- He's in control in the present, the past, the future. He controls destiny... time, eternity, outcomes.
@graceexplosion Actually, he didn't say "God is evil." That is a misrepresentation of what he said.
He said that IF God chose people to go to hell, THEN God is evil. Since he is not stating that God chose people to go to hell, he is actually not saying that God is evil.
What he's actually saying is that "God is good" (direct quote -- he says that quite clearly), and that God does NOT choose people to go to hell.
@1GodOnlyOne I don't think you understand. God is on His Throne ruling in matters beyond our ability to understand. To try to "pull God from the Throne" and say that if God is Sovereign -- He is evil -- is to say God is evil. That's like a 13 year old saying, "My dad is good if he gives me the keys to the car. But, if he rules this house and won't give me the keys, my dad is evil". That's a rebellious child being hateful falsely accusing his dad, resenting his dad's authority.
@1GodOnlyOne OK, I grant your point. What I am saying is that if I say the sun is not yellow -- but IF THE SUN IS YELLOW -- the sun is evil. Is the sun yellow?? Well, if I'm lying to say the sun is purple and the sun is really yellow -- I've gone a "round about way" to call the sun evil by deceit and trickery in two-faced slander veiled. And, anyone who knows the sun is yellow -- knows I just called the sun evil.
*I like this command preaching with POWER AND AUTHORITY IN JESUS!! Amen. Great tape. (under the APOSTLES COMMAND PREACHING -- ALL WHO WERE APPOINTED TO SALVATION BELIEVED. RIGHT ON!! Great point and communication.) God bless.
Come on now. Let's "test the spirits" to see if they are God. Let's see -- does anyone really believe that SATAN has "free will" in his blasphemous state to "choose Christ"?? Cuz Satan becomes a man -- the 666 beast. Isaiah 14:12How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! ... the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; (Free will salvation is HOGWASH. Satan cannot "choose Christ.)
@graceexplosion Come on now. Let's see how this "free will salvation" really "works". Prove that SATAN as a MAN as the 666 beast can "choose Christ" in his blasphemous spiritual state. Case in point. YOU'RE ARGUING FOR THE DEVIL that "he is good" and has "free will" to choose Christ in and of himself. You ARGUING THE CASE that the 666 beast, SATAN in human flesh appearing, is "good at heart" and has power in and of himself to "choose Christ". HOGWASH. Fails the test.

@October31st1517 You're just being silly. The WORD has not eliminated the SPIRIT. Jesus lives in us. Dreams and visions are normal Christianity. This isn't a "system of beliefs" like the Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts. This is a living body of believers in whom the Spirit dwells in whom Jesus lives. We're not from earth. We're from Heaven. Sola Scripture testifies of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Without Him, a person isn't saved.
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: (The reprobate are not "mere human beings". They are spiritual beings inside. The reprobate are the devil and his angels born in human flesh appearing. They are children of the devil not the Lord's sheep. Devils don't "choose Christ". They have no such spiritual ability. They are totally depraved spiritually -- in human flesh appearing.)
@graceexplosion Election is SUBSTANTIVE. We are foreknown in our spirit beings of "who we are". Jesus as God was conceived by the Spirit in the virgin Mary as God and the Son of God in human flesh appearing. Jesus is God' only Begotten Son -- but the firstborn of many brethren. The elect saints are foreknown SUBSTANTIVELY as the elect angels - the brethren - Jesus being the firstborn of many brethren. If ppl understood whole counsel predestination - they would not protest reprobation.)
LOL! The old "Pharoah hardened his heart first" argument. Actually, no he didnt! But what difference does that make? I guess since we are all born in sin, and harden our hearts to God from day one, God should harden ALL our hearts. Such a strawman!
I don't think we should preach "No free-will" to non-believers. Because it just opens the door to "Well God wants me to go to Hell, so let's party it up."
We should preach and witness as if they have a choice, unless they bring it up, and then once they become Christian, we stop giving them the milk and instead give them the meat and tell them God has chosen them to be of the flock.
@RocknForJesus How so? If a person is wholly responsible - then they are fully accountable, if anything, and that this also implies that the decisions they make is their own. A possible issue when talking about choice is that it is possible to talk about it as if to diminish God's sovereignty, and it can be confusing when presenting the gospel to new hearers.

So you call intellectual pride showing you what the Bible actually says? When the Bible is used in context that means opinions are taken out of the way. What you have a problem with is God and His word, your opinion is different than what God says and that's what makes you mad.
CBALLEN 3 weeks ago
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Humanism and Arminianism have a singular goal, and that is to dethrone God, and enthrone man. In both systems the sovereignty and authority of God over man is abrogated; man becomes the sovereign and God the suppliant; and man is the exclusive determiner of his eternal destiny. The doctrine of the sovereignty of God is so hateful to Humanism and Arminianism, they have mustered all the resources of carnal sagacity in an effort to find deficiency in the God of the Bible.
CBALLEN 3 weeks ago
@TheDarkKnightBatMann The Apostles of the Lord have warned His churches, saying: ". . . There should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lust . . . having not the Spirit" (Jude 18, 19). These vain mockers are shut up to degenerate wisdom, and being bound by their finite intellect, cannot conceive of God as being any more than themselves, and say in their hearts: "We will not have this man to reign over us" (Luke 19:14).
CBALLEN 3 weeks ago
@CBALLEN This has nothing even to do with this discussion. What I find interesting is how you responded not to the comments concerning pride. You must be a very proud man. You arrogance is a sin against God. Your unteachable spirit will be judged. God is merciful to you, but the day of judgment is coming.
TheDarkKnightBatMann 3 weeks ago
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Arminianism, like Humanism is a religion without the God of the Bible, but it is not god-less, for this creature exalting system contends that man is the exclusive determiner of his own destiny. Therefore, like Humanism, every man is in and of himself a god.

@TheDarkKnightBatMann Oliver B. Green, recently deceased, but while as yet living was one of the most fervent advocates of Arminianism. 1:11; Isa. 14:24).
CBALLEN 3 weeks ago
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Humanism does not recognize the God of the Bible as an authority in any matter, and Arminianism disavows the authority of God in all things. If God is not sovereign in all things, then He is not sovereign in any thing, for that which He is not sovereign over, is the sovereign of all things, including God.
CBALLEN 3 weeks ago
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Arminianism is nothing more than Humanism with a religious veneer, the combination of which is the ultimate subterfuge of the devil. Both systems are an eternal offense unto God, and it would be far better to have never been born, than to live and die trusting these God scandalizing errors for salvation from sin. So, let us not limit the Holy One of Israel. (Psa. 78:41), for His omnipotence is absolute, and no satanic ruse can in any wise hinder or disturb Him.
CBALLEN 3 weeks ago
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Humanism teaches that man as he is in nature is a moral giant and of infinite worth. Arminianism teaches the same thing, saying: "God valued man so highly that He sent His Son to redeem the whole family of man." Conversely, the Scripture says: "They have all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one" (Rom. 3:12).
CBALLEN 3 weeks ago
@TheDarkKnightBatMann "The flesh profiteth nothing" (John 6:63). But no matter how well defined the words of Christ may be, they have never made a favorable impression on Arminianism, and this pseudo system says: "God needs us, for we are the only feet, hands, and mouth God has." Poor handicapped God. But their god is not the God of the Bible.
CBALLEN 3 weeks ago
@TheDarkKnightBatMann To the natural man, God saith. "Thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself"(Psa. 50:21). This is the ultimate of evil thought, and manifests the utter and awful depravity of the human mind, and its fearful disregard for the unimpeachable holiness of God.
CBALLEN 3 weeks ago
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Humanism and Arminianism contend that the only thing wrong with man is: he needs a little more education. The unfavorable query is: Where is it that man can get this cure-all education? If we send our children to public school, they are inundated with humanism. If the family attends an Arminian church, it is deluged with the pernicious doctrine of self salvation.
CBALLEN 3 weeks ago
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Humanism and Arminianism teaches that one of man's most destructive flaws is to mistrust himself. In countering this fallacious elevation of the native intellect of man, Paul says: "We rejoice in Christ, and have no confidence in the flesh" (Phil. 3:3). Christ, speaking of regeneration, declares: "it is not of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God"(John 1:13).Yet the Arminian teaches the opposite,"salvation is only by the will of man."
CBALLEN 3 weeks ago
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Arminianism says: "Man has the intellectual power to choose eternal life or death, and that every man is given ample space to make up his mind in this vital matter". But Christ says, speaking of the natural man: "Ye will not come to Me that ye might have life" (John 5:40). Speaking of the utter impotence of man's natural will, Christ says: "No man can come to me . . ." (John 6:44).
CBALLEN 3 weeks ago
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Arminianism's declaration of the absolute independence of man's will is tantamount to saying, the fruit of a tree has a nature of its own, which is altogether free of the root of the tree. The fruit of a tree is invariably determined by the character of its root. Genealogically, Adam is the root of mankind, and when Adam committed spiritual suicide (Gen. 3:6), his progeny died in him.
CBALLEN 3 weeks ago
@TheDarkKnightBatMann Humanism and Arminianism contend that the will of man is free and independent of God, and it is of such power that it can frustrate and nullify the will of God. Therefore, this premise teaches that the ultimate in all things is left to the reasoning power and will of man. So, it inevitably follows, their faith is in man, and that man in the final analysis is the measure of all things

CBALLEN 3 weeks ago

Salvation is NOT by faith alone.

@zkueker88 Pt 2 Does judgement day take place the day you accept Christ? Did judgement day take place before creation?
What does God consider on judgement day? For according to you there is nothing to consider come judgement day because the decision was made by Christ long ago.
TrustinJC 1 month ago
The Arminian would have us believe that Jesus Christ died to save everyone, at least to make everyone saveable. A potential salvation based on what christ did. No matter how the Arminian says it, it all boils down to the fact that they believe their salvation is a matter of something THEY do, in addition to what Jesus did. They take credit for their "good decision". It is something for them to boast, to them, it's what makes them different from the lost. But that's not what Jesus & Paul said!
JesusIsTheOneWay 1 month ago
@JesusIsTheOneWay Arminiasm is errant attributing goodness and power of faith to man in the flesh. Yet, Jesus destroyed Satan on the cross. The power of the cross to destroy evil is UNLIMITED. When Jesus destroyed the devil himself (Hebrews 2:14), Jesus destroyed all darkness and evil - all sin. When Jesus returns, Satan is fully destroyed. The cross is UNLIMITED therefore in redemptive power - though only the elect are saved in this life - called out -- predestined.

Any command, law, statute and instruction spoken or inspired by יהוה is Torah.
davegooley 1 month ago
Predestination is a theological claim that is in verifiable contradiction to the Scriptures. Exodus 12:49 says there is one Torah (commonly called Law) for the native-born and the stranger that sojourns among you. The Torah is the standard of righteousness established by יהוה was established for EVERYONE, not just the people יהוה set apart starting with Abram (later called Abraham). When someone says the Torah has been done away with, that person is contradicting Matthew 5:17-18.

Why is there even a debate about predestination and election? It's obviously not important to God, otherwise he would have been more clear about the topic.

@graceexplosion I actually didn't watch this video. Can you please tell me at what time in the video he makes the statement "God is evil?" That I'd like to see!
1GodOnlyOne 1 month ago
@1GodOnlyOne It's fairly soon in. at 2 or 3 minute mark. I don't want to see it again. It's blasphemous. I saw on your page that you believe in One God. But, do you believe Jesus is God and the Son of God?? Do you believe Jesus came to die for our sins and rise again the 3rd day?? And ascended into Heaven? Are you a born-again believer in Jesus Christ??
graceexplosion 1 month ago
@graceexplosion Okay, cool, I'll check it out.
1GodOnlyOne 1 month ago

They're the devil and his angels.)
graceexplosion 1 month ago
@graceexplosion The verses you quoted don't mention hell at all, actually, so you are mistaken.
1GodOnlyOne 1 month ago
@1GodOnlyOne Believers are saved and go to Heaven. Unbelievers are damned. John 3:18
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (As you see -- they are "pre-condemned". Predestination is substantive. Those who go to hell were already damned in substantive predestination. They're the devil and his angels. They came from hell, were made men, and go to hell.)
graceexplosion 1 month ago
@graceexplosion John 3:18 does not say that. Please don't misquote scripture.
1GodOnlyOne 1 month ago
@1GodOnlyOne Yes, John 3:18 does say that. Those who do not believe in Jesus are condemned and go to hell. Those who believe are saved and go to Heaven. John 5:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (We gain eternal life by grace through faith. Those who do not believe are pre-condemned and go to hell.)
graceexplosion 1 month ago
@graceexplosion Actually, no, John 3:18 does not mention the word "hell" at all, so you are clearly mistaken.

@1GodOnlyOne Revelation 21:8
Unbelievers are condemned to hell; pre-condemned.)
graceexplosion 1 month ago
@graceexplosion You have failed to provide a single verse that even mentions the word "hell" at all, what to speak of one that states that God chooses to send people there, so you are clearly mistaken.
God clearly does not choose to send people to hell, and when you say that you think God is evil, you are mistaken.
1GodOnlyOne 1 month ago
@1GodOnlyOne You know what I find interesting?? Is that you don't believe in Jesus, you are not saved, you are not born-again -- yet your doctrine is just the same as the man who says God is not Sovereign and in control. An unbelievers doctrine??
graceexplosion 1 month ago
@graceexplosion My "doctrine?" I wasn't aware that I had a "doctrine."
Also, you are a liar -- I never stated that God is not sovereign, and I never stated that God is not in control.
1GodOnlyOne 1 month ago
@1GodOnlyOne A belief from God's Word is a "doctrine". Every belief is a "doctrine". You and I (I assume since you are an RP supporter) do not agree with what is called the "Bush doctrine" of pre-emptive wars (wars of aggression). So, that is a belief set forth as principle - called a doctrine. "Sovereign" means in control. You seem ambivalent. If God is in control -- He's in control in the present, the past, the future. He controls destiny... time, eternity, outcomes.

graceexplosion 1 month ago
@graceexplosion Actually, he didn't say "God is evil." That is a misrepresentation of what he said.
He said that IF God chose people to go to hell, THEN God is evil. Since he is not stating that God chose people to go to hell, he is actually not saying that God is evil.
What he's actually saying is that "God is good" (direct quote -- he says that quite clearly), and that God does NOT choose people to go to hell.
1GodOnlyOne 1 month ago
@1GodOnlyOne But we know for a fact that God chooses who will go to hell, therefore he is saying God is evil!
WCOFTheology 1 month ago
@WCOFTheology God does not choose to send anyone to hell, actually, and the Bible does not say that he does.
1GodOnlyOne 1 month ago
@1GodOnlyOne I don't think you understand. God is on His Throne ruling in matters beyond our ability to understand. To try to "pull God from the Throne" and say that if God is Sovereign -- He is evil -- is to say God is evil. That's like a 13 year old saying, "My dad is good if he gives me the keys to the car. But, if he rules this house and won't give me the keys, my dad is evil". That's a rebellious child being hateful falsely accusing his dad, resenting his dad's authority.
graceexplosion 1 month ago
@graceexplosion Sure I understand. He didn't say that if God is sovereign, then he's evil.
1GodOnlyOne 1 month ago
@1GodOnlyOne OK, I grant your point. What I am saying is that if I say the sun is not yellow -- but IF THE SUN IS YELLOW -- the sun is evil. Is the sun yellow?? Well, if I'm lying to say the sun is purple and the sun is really yellow -- I've gone a "round about way" to call the sun evil by deceit and trickery in two-faced slander veiled. And, anyone who knows the sun is yellow -- knows I just called the sun evil.
graceexplosion 1 month ago
@graceexplosion He didn't say anything about the sun either.
He says that God is good, very clearly.
He then goes on to say that IF God chooses to send people to hell, THEN God is evil.
His point is clearly that God does not choose to send people to hell, because God is good, and NOT evil.
Your misrepresentation of his actual statement is pretty dishonest.

Satan cannot "choose Christ.)
graceexplosion 1 month ago
@graceexplosion Come on now. Let's see how this "free will salvation" really "works". Prove that SATAN as a MAN as the 666 beast can "choose Christ" in his blasphemous spiritual state. Case in point. YOU'RE ARGUING FOR THE DEVIL that "he is good" and has "free will" to choose Christ in and of himself. You ARGUING THE CASE that the 666 beast, SATAN in human flesh appearing, is "good at heart" and has power in and of himself to "choose Christ". HOGWASH. Fails the test.

@graceexplosion Yet you believe God is still speaking today in dreams, visions, etc. How can you claim SOLA SCRIPTURA, when you hold to such a view.
October31st1517 1 month ago
@October31st1517 You're just being silly. The WORD has not eliminated the SPIRIT. Jesus lives in us. Dreams and visions are normal Christianity. This isn't a "system of beliefs" like the Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts. This is a living body of believers in whom the Spirit dwells in whom Jesus lives. We're not from earth. We're from Heaven. Sola Scripture testifies of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Without Him, a person isn't saved.

Matthew 25:41
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: (The reprobate are not "mere human beings". They are spiritual beings inside. The reprobate are the devil and his angels born in human flesh appearing. They are children of the devil not the Lord's sheep. Devils don't "choose Christ". They have no such spiritual ability. They are totally depraved spiritually -- in human flesh appearing.)
graceexplosion 1 month ago
@graceexplosion Election is SUBSTANTIVE. We are foreknown in our spirit beings of "who we are". Jesus as God was conceived by the Spirit in the virgin Mary as God and the Son of God in human flesh appearing. Jesus is God' only Begotten Son -- but the firstborn of many brethren. The elect saints are foreknown SUBSTANTIVELY as the elect angels - the brethren - Jesus being the firstborn of many brethren. If ppl understood whole counsel predestination - they would not protest reprobation.)
graceexplosion 1 month ago
LOL! The old "Pharoah hardened his heart first" argument. Actually, no he didnt! But what difference does that make? I guess since we are all born in sin, and harden our hearts to God from day one, God should harden ALL our hearts. Such a strawman!

i would say it is both. man is responsible for his dealings with the treasure of humanity who is christ.

@RocknForJesus Choice is a horrible word - talking about responsibility would be better suited.
ChristianDefence 1 month ago
@ChristianDefence Yeah but then it makes it seem like they aren't accountable for their actions.
RocknForJesus 1 month ago
@RocknForJesus How so? If a person is wholly responsible - then they are fully accountable, if anything, and that this also implies that the decisions they make is their own. A possible issue when talking about choice is that it is possible to talk about it as if to diminish God's sovereignty, and it can be confusing when presenting the gospel to new hearers.
ChristianDefence 1 month ago
@ChristianDefence So when they stand before God and be judged, God's going to say "I made you sin, so it's not your fault. Welcome to Heaven"?
