Most people were happy of him being hit by a car, but a few truly wanted him back.

Perfect fit with the music.

And like they said in the anime, put a hundred people together, and most likely not even one of them would jump to the street to push a little kid from infront of a car.

One of the best opening episodes ever i admit i cried when i saw this for the first time. Seeing the little brat yusuke saved and kuwabara, his mother, kayko, and the principle. And the surprised look on yusuke's face when he realized that people care for him.

This is perfect, truly. It captures what would have happened in the real world, if you believe in the supernatural. Yusuke died and didn't get to come back, but was able to make peace with his life at last.

I swear, if they ever make a live action Yu Yu Hakusho movie in america, I'll do everything in my power to make sure they do the 1st episode parts perfectly. You have my word of honor!

that is a melody of naruto,you can hear it in first episode.i think but you also hear it when somone has died.its plenty of time you hear that song

Seeing Kuwabara crying and screaming in the anime...it's such a tear jerker...but, at the end, with his mother just sitting there...crying softly while she is just curled up in the corner...that was probably the hardest part to withstand without shedding at least one tear. This is, without a doubt, the saddest moment in anime.

your right its so hard not to shed at least one tear. its hard because a mother lost her only son and even though he acted tough she still loved him and thats what makes it hard.

What was hard for me and my twin sis was that we lost our best friend the same way, and his funeral was very similar. This episode holds a lot of emotions for a lot of people. Peace Out, One World!
