the bs about these stages was that you have to find the key in the level then hold it tell the end of the stage but man......getting throug the level without getting hit on those later stages insane work but it can be done

@erikdaniel1991 Yeah but on that there was no chasing chaos emeralds it was just collecting all the rings so you can get it at the end. I was playing one of those stages today of sonic classic collection ds which I got for Christmas. I'm getting Sonic Generations, I've ordered it from Amazon and I'm really excited, it should be coming tommorow!

@andrewthehedgehog911 No pressing it gave you that extra push because they started the dash. I would usually use my turbo button and hold down the boost button so it would be tapping it like so many times a second.

I had so many problems with these levels one year ago.

I don't kow how it works on the Gamecube, but if you get hit by thee bombs in the PS2 Version, it's like everythings slow motion except the emerald.

you get a special key in the main mission and if you don't get hit you can get to the special stage when you pass the goal ring

There is usually only one in each zone, but sometimes there are 2 or 3. and they are usually hidden.
