WTF... YOU, THE SAME PERSON THAT WENT TO MY SCHOOL ( FORDINGBRIDGE ) AND YOU GOT TO MEET BRUCE WILLIS.... WHAT THE F*** Where do u live now man we need to make some vids together or sumthing :)
That kid is so lucky. He get's to interview Jeff Katzenberg. That guy has produced most of the animated blockbusters since the mid-90s. What a legend.
You're crazy! Read "The Keys to the Kingdom" by Kim Masters and then tell me what you think of Katzenberg. He did a lot to raise the bar on modern animation. I admire him, his talent, and his moxie.
No offense meant by this, but I also saw the Little Mermaid DVD doc that you're probably referring to, and, with respect, you shouldn't judge him just be a few facts that are on there. (And if you pay close attention he admits to his mistakes as well.)
Not to sound like some kind of obsessed fan, but it's because of him that American animation is as strong as it is today.
Sorry, but I have to disagree with you on that. JK was actively involved in the making of that film (having Ariel say "I love you" to her dad at the end, having the final battle be much more action-packed, making the romance more believable) As he was in Lion King, Aladdin and yes, Over the Hedge. Just because not every decision he made was 100% right doesn't mean he's a hack, "frustrated freak" or someone who should be "kept away from animation."

I wish they would take Ollie seriously! They're horribly patronising here.

Jeffrey Katzenberg is a businessman that shouldn't be involved in the artistic process of animation. Shame on him.
After the storyboard presentation of TLM saying: "Why do I not like this?"
And later insisting that "Part of your world" had to be taken out of the movie?
And then after the first preview he said; Don't be disappointed, but The TLM won't do as well as "Oliver".
Omg,they should lock him up, or at least keep him away from animation! What kind of frustrated freak is he?
