@TheVaria77 The difference between an UTAU and a Vocaloid is simple. An UTAU is a fan-made Vocaloid with different voice levels. And a Vocaloid is "an all ready made program" meaning they have set voices and made by different companies. I hope that clears it up. If you still don't get it. Use Wikipidia. :)

Ruko is a hermaphrodite, which means she both male and female parts, you should google that part because honestly explaining that over youtube's a tad akward. She is portrayed mostly more female looking in videos, but she can also look more male. Also, her voicebank is both male and female mixed together which i personally think sounds beautiful. She is one of the better sounding UTAU's along with teto, because a lot of 'em are created by random people with no experience with the program.

The reason why not many know about UTAUloid is because unlike Vocaloid, it's the free voice program. And many people create UTAUloids. Plus, they aren't as popular as the Vocaloids because they have a few more flaws in the voice.

Personally, Teto is one of my favourites, and for a short time, it was believed that she was to be upgraded to a Vocaloid. So far it hasnt gone through.

And with Teto, so many people liked her, despite that she was a joke, that the creator kept her as an UTAUloid
