I have a 78 scout with a 304 in it and i was ganna put on a magnaflow also, do you know of anything i could do to the 304 to get it more horse power mainly but anything at all.?

@AWat171  I know you can get an manifold to put an 4barell on it, and thats all i know. lol It has a 4in rough country lift and a 1in body lift.

If running an IH engine, you WANT the back pressure, don't freeflow!

yup exact same thing as im gonna do with my 77 btw plz respond to this how much power that 304 got cause if it has pretty good power i wont throw a 350 in mine

I would proable throw a 350 in it or the 345. The 304 only put out like 141 HP. I had 33 in tires on it and that slowed it down quiet a bit. So if you going to put anything bigger than 31 or 32in tires, I would put a bigger engine in it. Plus theres not really any aftermarket parts for the 304.

whats the specs on ur exhaust pipe? 3"? True dual or do you have a crossover pipe? What magnaflows?? Sounds good!!
