  • ace combat 4 :'D

  • Brilliant performance!!!

  • Such a wonderful iranian guitarist !

  • touching!

  • This is a good tempo for La Limosna de mangore, Remember that he wrote this son previous his death. So, he did not think on speed up at that time. Vey good interpretation, one of the best.

  • Ace Combat 4 led me here

  • @TEXpanteraAS

    Me too bro! :D

  • Quite impressive!!

  • After John Williams, I like her version best.

  • LILY I love You

  • Así se hace..!!!!

  • kind of dry

  • this is definitly the most beautiful song i've ever heard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    5 stars

  • Hearty interpretation. God gave talents for people all over the world. This piece always brings tears to my eyes. Latin guitar players are wonderful playing this song and this Iranian lady captures the spirit of this unbelievable jewel. I believe that Tarrega and Barrios are the greatest guitar composers.

  • merci Lily

  • Wonderful work! Afshar is really a great guitarist.

  • Awesome... what a feelling...realmente que sentimiento para interpretar tan bella pieza.

  • god save all iranian.

  • Couldn't agree less though being one myself. Look at our country now and see that we have been made into nothing but plastic faces slaved by Islam and a corrupt government.

  • bravo

  • i saw her in concert best ive ever seen

  • çok güzel

  • true beauty!!:)

  • i'm hoping to play this once too. I'm doing recuerdos now, and maybe i'll do the tremelo in Sakura too once.

  • ethereal!

  • This song ies really called the last song... el ultimo canto.. she really now how to play it like berta rojas... very good stuff..

  • you are wrong my friend... the original title of this piece is "Una Limosna por el Amor de Dios" composed in 1939. I recomend you read the book "Six Silver Moonbeams" by Richard D. Stover and get some insight into the life Barrios led.

  • very nice

  • Excellent!

  • Preciosa Obra Joder!

  • wow

    veri cooool

  • Barrios is one of my favorite composers, nice interpretation! Thank you

  • classical tremolo licks its all about flamenco

  • Poetic...delicious!

  • yeah tis a bit slow have a listen to Ioana Gandrabur blind guitarist its amazing.

  • Cool!

  • Tremolo seems to be a bit slow and constrained but still a good effort.

  • The tempo of the song dictates the speed of the tremolo. What you are calling "constrained" is the volume which Miss Afshar has chosen for her interpretation of this very sensitive piece.

  • coinsido con lo que dices,es una interpretacion impecable,el tremolo mas rapido la desvirtuaria.

  • There could be another point of view about this: you can be able to play a good (let say "musical") tremolo at a given speed and, according to this, choose the tempo for the whole piece. This is what a good interpreter does in refining the performance. Lily Afshar does this very well and, finally, her tremolo is very musically exposed, despite the fact that it is not a Yamashita-like tremolo.

  • @SoloGuitaristNet That's *Dr.* Afshar ;) "the first woman in the world to gain a Doctorate of Music in guitar performance"

  • @Nightfa11 She is Lily to her friends, but thank you for that. ;)

  • @SoloGuitaristNet I'm sure, but for now, she's still one of my instructors, and she was refered to as *Miss*, I felt I had to correct.

  • @Nightfa11 Good point. It 's use, in the exchange, was intended to be a term of endearment.

  • @toddinfl you are wrong on this one, when tremelo is to fast ala Yepes then it distracts the 'real' listener from the actuall song.

  • @toddinfl ur retarded

  • Thank you for your lovely presentation of this music.
