If you play only solos is very difficult understand something about how guitarsonds.

i think PRS base some of their models on Gibson DC's

And some of their other models on classic LP, lol. Gibson filled a lawsuit against them, although never has been able to prove it's rights. That's why you could still get PRS Single Cut, which looks like a LP pretty much.

I got one, but the factory finish was an incredible example of bad paintwork.

Blackburst with a satin neck now though! :P

If anyone's considering buying one of these 2nd hand you'll have to fight me for it. They are superb.
