Omg ! Thank you so soo much for doing this tutorial. Everyone else makes their video so confusing, but yours definitely taught me how to thread my sewing machine :D Thanks again!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have been trying to do this all morning and could not even figure this out with the manual. I had the bobbin loaded seconds after watching this video.
I learned this at school today and couldnt really see.. but your vid is excellent clear and direct easy to see and understand GREAT job, i will use your channel everytime and referr my classmates for help.. THANKS so much !!!!!!!
oh my god thank you so much!!! i have had my machine four 5 years just collecting dust because i couldnt thread my machine. my stitches kept sewing then when i looked at it -they fell apart as if i never threaded the machine.
now looking at this -i guess i didnt do it properly.
can you tell me anything about the knob that has the number "1-5" ?
i have a SIMPLICITY S02 CLASSIC -its old right now -but hardley ever used and i dont want to throw it away.
Hi, I just wanted to say t hank you so much. I just bought a refurbished machine with a manual that I think assumes people know what they are doing. I have never sewn before. I could not get the bobbin to "take" and had to walk away because I was so frustrated. I looked up "top loading bobbin" on youtube and thank goodness I got here. First time after viewing, I got the bobbin to thread and could sew. I made 2 things today. You are terrific and thank you so much!!
Bravo! Nice job! I'm getting a new machine soon and I've been searching sites all over the internet on this topic but of all the videos I've seen you've explained it the best. Thank you.
wow I'm so glad I was able to help you. One thing about the tread on the wooden spool, don't use the thread, they are too old, save the spools they are becoming rare.
Well done! Just the right amount of information, spoken clearly and performed at the perfect pace. My compliments to the photographer as well. I haven't sewn in so long my sewing box contains thread on wooden spools! Thank you for teaching me to thread my new MC 3000.
thank you so much! i could never figure out how to thread the bobbin and the other videos on youtube were not very clear. i can finally use my sewing machine!
oh my gosh! thank you for this! I'm using a Singer Sewing machine for the first time now and the book it came with is all pictures, no words so loading the bottom bobbin was nearly impossible without your video thank you so much!
first I need to know which sewing machine are you using - I need to see a picture to see where it getting caught at. I sound like your bobbin case is not in the machine right. Sent me a picture and I will be glad to help you
Thank you for doing this video! It helped me realize why I was having a problem. for some reason, when the top thread picks up the bottom thread, it gets caught and thats why I'm having so many tangles. Any idea how to correct this problem? Thanks! =)
Thank you so much!!! I have been looking for how to insert a drop in bobbin properly for about an hour or so. Soooo frustrating not to find what you need!!!
I am so glad I could help I love teaching people to sew. I hope to get some more done this year, but with teaching 10 classes a week, I will have to find some more time.
Thank You, Thank you, Thank you!!! This was very helpful! I have been watching other videos and this one is BY FAR the most helpful. I could clearly see and follow exactly what to do, The pace was nice. Thanks again!

Thank you very much! This video is helpful for not only your type of sewing machine, but for many basic foot-powered brands. The manual that came with mine is more useful as a coaster than anything else. You did a great job making it easy to understand and follow!
YES YES!THANKYOU!I've been reading the manual and going through instructions for hours now and nothing made sense until this!thankyou very much and keep up the good work!
I'm really glad that I found this vid !! it's simplified enough that One being male and Two never even touched a sewing machine even i did it with the help of this video!! Thank You!

This is wonderful! I just got my first sewing machine ever about 15 minutes ago and this seems so easy to follow. Thank you for a simple instruction video. I can't wait to get going! :)
First time using a sewing machine and had been trying to get the thread to come up from the bobbin for an hour, turns out I was turning the wheel the wrong way (red faced), thank the good lord for The Sewing Lady!
Thank you so much! I have been going through a few youtube videos, and not only are their explanations hard, but their camera angles are horrible and therefore I cannot follow along with them to the same extent. But your explaination was perfect, and I could actually see everything that you were doing. That, and that my brother xl-2600i is very similar to your machine and therefore I could easily follow along, but the issue I had was getting the threads together. Thanks so much you have no idea
i just watched yur video and may i say that yur video is by far the easiest to understand and fallow thank you so much, now i can finally sew up my clothes lol
You are amazing, I haven't sewed in a long time and decided I wanted to try to make my step daughter an Easter dress. This isn't the type of sewing machine I have but your directions were so well that i was able to use them for mine. Thanks!
your amazing!! ive watch like 10 videos of people installing the bobbin part... and they didnt explain it!! the first thing u said about counterclockwise... thats what i was doing wrong!! no one else mentioned that!!! thank you!!!
both you and the camera man did amazing!! thank you thank you thank you!
i havent used my sewing machine in years, and forgot how! thanks to you, i just made pillows for my new couch!! horray!!!
Half the things you told me were directly contarary to my instruction manual. I followed you to the letter and i am finally sewing things. I am a grown, semi-masculine man and I was about ready to break down on this thing. You are a life saver and thank you so very, very much!
YOU ARE a LEGEND, a true step by step, i have watch quite a few videos on here and there has always been a small detail left ad for a first timer who just inheritated a sewing machine, your video was as clear as daylight followed your instructions as you spoke and didnt have to redo it once, love you and thanks.....greetings n smiles from Australia..... you're a Gem and Fabulous Camara work too, big thumbs up to the Hubby :-)
