  • Hi, I just wanted to say t hank you so much. I just bought a refurbished machine with a manual that I think assumes people know what they are doing. I have never sewn before. I could not get the bobbin to "take" and had to walk away because I was so frustrated. I looked up "top loading bobbin" on youtube and thank goodness I got here. First time after viewing, I got the bobbin to thread and could sew. I made 2 things today. You are terrific and thank you so much!!

  • Bravo! Nice job! I'm getting a new machine soon and I've been searching sites all over the internet on this topic but of all the videos I've seen you've explained it the best. Thank you.

  • wow I'm so glad I was able to help you. One thing about the tread on the wooden spool, don't use the thread, they are too old, save the spools they are becoming rare.

    happy sewing

  • Well done! Just the right amount of information, spoken clearly and performed at the perfect pace. My compliments to the photographer as well. I haven't sewn in so long my sewing box contains thread on wooden spools! Thank you for teaching me to thread my new MC 3000.

  • Thank you for doing this video! It helped me realize why I was having a problem. for some reason, when the top thread picks up the bottom thread, it gets caught and thats why I'm having so many tangles. Any idea how to correct this problem? Thanks! =)

  • Thank you so much! I have been going through a few youtube videos, and not only are their explanations hard, but their camera angles are horrible and therefore I cannot follow along with them to the same extent. But your explaination was perfect, and I could actually see everything that you were doing. That, and that my brother xl-2600i is very similar to your machine and therefore I could easily follow along, but the issue I had was getting the threads together. Thanks so much you have no idea
