  • I grew up in Philly, I trained at Joe Frazier's Gym and I am realizing we are losing our Legends, The Stylistics found a clone of Russell and the Blue Notes found one for Teddy, I know there is one to be found for William Hart.......I will be looking forward to it......

  • I didn't mean to sound harsh I know Mr. Hart is older now and of course as we all get into our senior years none of us are able to do the things we use to do so I was just stating a fact. Folks still love to see the originals who sang these songs even at their worst. I'm sure Mr. Hart knows he doesn't sound the same but with the fire from the audience this pushes him on so I congratulate him and other senior singers who try to bring that joy once again to their fans. Martha Reeves too!

  • This was recorded when Poogie had his voice. He no longer sounds like this and if he thinks he does, he IS lying to himself.

  • Unless you are tone deaf... the Hart Brothers now in real life are no where they used to be on these high notes. So Vincent50 observation is valid.

  • Love doesn't seem to take on this form anymore. We look at the form of a person rather than the heart of a person. The heart brings forth the issues of life. And love is a life giving emotion. Children look for life! Your eyes only seek anger and death. Seek peace and life and be at peace within yourselves. I had never heard this song but i know the truth of it. I was 30 yrs old when this song came on the scene. And i see the youth throwing love away like trash. 1forgiven70X7

  • The background vocals were don't by Luther Vandross & David Lasley

  • Vincent50.........IS A COMPLETE ASSHOLE....LIKE BIN LADEN........Get me SEAL TEAM SIX on the phone!!

  • @aspainsr-Why because he expresses his opinion? I happen to agree with him. Tell the truth!

  • @nolan1952 As a Man, I will apologize when I am wrong, I finally heard exactly what U both mean.....Live and in person...I was drinking the night of my comment and was hurt to hear that about my HS alum and hommy... So again, please excuse my comment....because the Brother is absolutely Wrecking Shit in the twilight of his career. ..Peace

  • Great song and the leader was at the top of his game but these days he sounds awful and needs to retire from destroying his group's legacy. I am not being mean just stating facts.

  • @Vincent50-I didn't want to be the one to say it, so thanks. I'm not the only one who feels that William Hart should at least sing background and hire a lead singer who sounds as good as he did back in the day.

  • I don't even know the last time I heard this! It still sounds good to me! It brings back memories of a simpler time for sure. Bills didn't exist and money grew on trees! LOL
