What i like about her is the pleasure of making music that she's got. I hope she will not get lost in the crowd like many other talented children who promised but gave up later...

No young chinese boy or girl can do what she does, composing a song in one blink, improvising at place and able to replay it and probably any other advanced skills.There is no question that she is amazing. She makes neo-classical music if I may judge, and it's good. I find it better than some pieces of classical music.

Mozart was able to play the violin better than his father the moment he picked it up. If emily was a good as him, she wouldn't need a teacher :/

That woman is really scary(the first one). I think Emily has a real talent. Composing is quite easy, but creating something so whole and beautiful in that age using only intuition without planning or practicing the song before... That's what I call a cool thing! I see that she is having lot of fun and loves to be in her own world, but I'm still sorry for her because, she can't share her gifts with other kids... I mean that she will miss a lot of her childhood :/

And i promise she couldnt hear an entire symphony and be able to remember it and right it down. there are many examplesof mozart as a child going to church and coming home and perfectly writing down everything he heard from memory. the pieces mozart created were far more complex than hers as well. Mozart was connected to music a more intimate level and no one will ever surpass him..

@KingLouisDude I think it was a soundtrack...such a waste of talent. she needs mentoring but not by a Mom who seems to revel in the more banal aspects of her ability. emily needs to be challenged to go beyond the "new age" track she seems to be on -- facile, pleasant sounding music but invariably derivative. almst seems like she's writing "licks" instead of cohesive forms.
