Can you tell me whats the silver piece called under the screen. The piece that you take off the chip at 0:12. Mine is broke from water Damage and i need a new one.
Since you're so good at this, there'd really be a "need" for an in-depth, detailed guide on changing the full housing on a PSP-2000.
I've been looking the whole day and sure, I can find dim lit disassembly videos, brief explanations on how to do it, some assembly videos etc. but not a good in-depth tutorial with step-by-step directions on how to change the housing.
Sure, I'm already a tad wiser after looking at disassembly vids, but I'd still prefer a GOOD GUIDE/tutorial and can't find one.
Mr. Console Doctor i just successfully replaced the motherboard on my psp 3001 after it was bricked. One problem! Now the it has trouble reading UMDs. Any suggestions?
There #000 Screw drivers I want to see an electric screwdriver of that size, and i take it apart just about everyday if not every other day. Take a quick video it will only take 6 minutes~
Make a quick video on the topic, and don't speed it up and lets see it in 6 minutes :P... The screwdriver bit needed is a #000 Bit, I haven't seen any electric screwdrivers with that size bit....
ok.. i tried today.. but im doing this at work and trying not to get caught.. seing as tho our company works directly for sony they can get a bit twitchy... unfortunatly the last 1000 consoles went through today. were going to be focusing on 2000 consoles in the follwoing weeks. so im gonna have to delay for a couple weeks.. as for the screwdriver that sibobby thinks doesnt exist i managed to take a photo and ill post it somewhere later, im not here to troll and.... im gonna need 2 posts sec....
and... i need to let u know the 6 minutes was a chassis change.. and becasue my job is about numbers we find the quickest way about it.. so my 6 minutes that i should have made more clearly was my record.. and we dont d/c the left membrane, powersw board.. and we keep the wlan board connected to the wlan cable which is still stuck to the dc jack. sorry if i sounded like a asshole wen i just sed out 6 minits... i dont want to cause a arguement
Excelent..! Thank's a LOT..!

Nice, thats pretty damn fast... considering theres 7 outer screws, like 8 LCD Cage screws, 1 motherboard screw, memory card plastic piece screws (2), UMD Cage (4).... thats 22 screws... 6 minutes = 6*60 seconds = 360 secs.... there is at least 6 ribbon cables... I doubt it, Record it normal speed :D
Sibobby1 3 years ago
7 outer, 5 lcd, 3 mb, then 3 underneith, then the 1 for the back cover, then 4 for the OB.
clutch26 3 years ago
But I doubt you can do it in 6 minutes...
