  • Almost every time I try this in Jiu Jitsu I get caught in a guillotine. But it presents itself so much so any other pointers to avoid that?

    they are rlly helpful!

  • Thats one of my favorite duck unders

  • Lol..guys watch the video than keep pressing 6...

  • Lol..guys press watch the video than keep pressing 6...

    Then keep pressing 7..

    Do it lol..

  • ILOVEBJ??? WTF

  • you remind me of ben stiller.

  • @JONWAYNE7 Cael Sanderson made alotta shots off of wrist ties. you think he isnt a good wrestler?

  • @JONWAYNE7 u got to be moron, " good wrestlers dont look for setups off of wrist ties." U got to be the dumbest mothefucker alive. CHeck out my boy Morgan Mctintosh youtube videos. 4x state champion, he does setups off of wrist ties. IF you tell any college wrestler that they will laugh in your face.

  • Its all about setups and wrist control...my 8 yr old son sets up all his shots. He doesnt just shoot to shoot in. Check out on my son on my page..watch the video named 8 Yr Old Wrestling Phenom !..hes pretty good for an 8 yr old. Thanks.

  • @JONWAYNE7 it was very affective for my self in highschool my coach was a d1 champ but a d 2 champ and he wrestled legends john smith the brands brothers he was good and really taught his students well atleast the ones ho paid attention....if you can do it fast and efficient then you can beat anybody... look at john smith

  • @JONWAYNE7 just watch john smith thats the perfect example of how to wrestle. when you wrestle like that and someone grabs your wrist you now have to advantage because youve worked on wrist control.....wrestling isnt about the big moves and the very technical its about alll of the little things and once you put those together inevitably good things should happen so i dis agree wrist control is as affective as a russian 2 on 1... because the wrist control leads to the 2 on 1 to fireman single etc

  • Troy Nickerson taught me this: at 0:53 you go down on your outside knee and as you do that your head goes inside and then you drive into him into single leg position and you finish your take down from there.

  • To tell u the truth this move is great for middle school heavy weights....... i won Regions with this move......

  • this what my coach teach me great move !

  • @JONWAYNE7 I qualified for D1 NCAA's twice. Wrist setups work. Ever heard of an armdrag?

  • @Jonwayne7 ...... I collar tie like a boss... if you collar tie but don't hold there to rest, it's effective, it wears out your opponents back, and it let's them FEEL YOUR THERE,,when I collar tie, I can see my opponents think "Oh Snap"

  • hmmm, this seems like a tied up version of the super duck, looks good, I will have to field test this. But are you sure this will end standing up, usually when I duck (not super duck) we both hit the floor and I circle to a take down or he dropped fast enough and I back out,,,

  • Do you explode into that double leg?? cause I did and I ended up getting flipped over into half guard and I got choked out :(

  • @JONWAYNE7 ARE YOU AWARE HE'S AN mma FIGHTER, and the proliferation of MMA changed everything, and I'd bet you'd beat me in a amatuer wrestling match, but if we go MMA, I'd put a hurtin on you you'd never forget, and I'm just someone who learns from this guy, he knows shyt my teacher don't klnow

  • Who knew Ben Stiller wrestles too!

  • @seanB81 yeah he can do everything but comedy. lol

  • Everyone wrestles different...

  • you need inside tie onthat duck under side against anyone who knows how to wrestler or it will get countered!

  • i've pulled this off in NUMEROUS high level grappling tournaments. Thanks for the vid, Ken.

  • @JONWAYNE7 a smart wrestler looks for a set up off ANYTHING. the lines, a wrist, collar tie, the way he walks onto the mat. ALWAYS be looking for the way to land your move.

  • i believe if you watch again you'll notice he showin a single to get the step back reaction. i works ...maybe more if you shoot for that single and dont get it once or twice

  • what works better for you, an inside control duck or outside??

  • this worked in college for me, i was d1, what were you?

  • @kenprimo whats d1?

  • @jerryx2000 he means division 1, it's the highest level of college wrestling.

  • @kenprimo ownage.

  • Great video. Very helpfull.

  • this is nice i love the wrist ties

  • first off realistically u dont grab wrist n duck u use bicep to pull. secondly popping elbow is beginner move in that position. at advanced stage that move will easily be stopped. good wrestlers dont collar tie unless they are 4head to 4head ;) nice tutorial for jr high wrestlers tho. fundamentals r important!

  • @JONWAYNE7 You must really know what your talking about, what an idiot, this setup isnt the most amazing, but it could work on most anyone depending on how fast/slick the guy is, and depending on how well the guy sells the misdirection. I'm guess you like to act like you know what your talking about most the time, but on this post your simply stating things that dont need to be stated.

  • I'll admit you keep your head up not down. Thats a mistake wrestlers make alot.

  • He keeps head up in order to avoid getting guillotine chocked

  • I know I made a video about it.

  • is it still advice to keep your head up in mma?.. just asking

  • Nice setup. Thanks for posting.

  • Nice move.

  • great instruction guys!

  • im starting my freshman year any vids i should watch?

  • Just listen to your coach. It's a really easy sport to learn and pick up. But it's arguably the hardest high school sport to be good at.

  • real good no-gi tips. I'm practicing taking legs more and more and I keep coming back to this site.

  • excellent set-up 5/5

  • Can you be more specific? Thanks

  • Are you kidding...I learned the same exact opener from training wrestling years ago and it works just fine for me. These are used by all wrestlers everywhere with small variations.

  • good!! thank you~^^

  • Nice set up.
