  • sweet nail polish and pink/black wristguards

didnt know this guy was an emo girl

  • schwuchtel

  • Ryan Kennelly aka Ryan "bench monster" Kennelly was arrested AGAIN for making and selling counterfeit steroids and growing and selling pot. Ryan Kennelly had been arrested a month earlier for dealing drugs and he was awaiting criminal trial. Kennelly kept drug dealing. It's too bad,he was a talented bench presser! BUT it goes to show a big bench doesn't make a big man. Ryan Kennelly was known for lying and slandering his former sponsors and doing stupid stuff. Nobody in powerlifting trusted him.

  • beretta thats not alot of weight so i wouldnt boast so muc, and if someone says he attempted it, then maybe he did dont be such a know it all....

  • what a warm-up

  • you also got to think hes not a real powerlifter. hes just a bench presser if he was a real powerlifter there would be tons of videos of him doing squats and deadlifts and what not

  • He squats over 1000 pounds, hes just a bench specialist. Why dont you JUST bench 1000 pounds and tell me what you think.

  • i wish i could JUST bench 1000 pounds so i really cant tell you what i think

  • @BigMbot squats ??? I think not !! He only benches !! And he's full in roids and maybe more !! !000 lbs bench press or squat with the slightest add from roids or supplaments means shit to me !!!

  • stfu you dont know what y9our talking about if he didnt do deadlifts and had a weak back he wouldnt be doing close to this much weight... plz dont talk your fuckin stupid

  • back then scott mendelson was considered the top lifter

  • I own this dvd and acording to the dvd, this is the day after the arnold where he did a shirted 848. it doesnt make much sense to bench again the day after a comp, but I watched the video a million times and right after the comp, in subtitles it say "the day after" and then goes to this scene.

  • Havent seen the video, but thats not makin much sense to me either.

  • makes sense to me. no reason why he would lose much strentgh from the previous day's lifting. i guess since 848 is still well under his top weights (insane) there is probably low risk of injury. kind of like a 400lb bencher benching 300 the next day. how big are ryan's arms? they're so thick, they look like dwarf arms. god, if he pushed you with his hands you'd fly about 30 meters away.

  • This is in 2005, he wasnt benching 1000+ pounds like he is now. 848 was probably his best back then.

  • 848 was most certainly not his best lift. Ryan Kennelly had a PR back then of 912 pounds. 848 was heavy, but as the guy said before, 600 X 1 isn't going to hurt a 900+ bencher just as benching 225 X 1 isn't going to hurt a 315 bencher.

  • But still, im not trying to call out the guy, but 2 meets in 2 days just seems fucking dumb.

  • Agreed. There's no point in benching two days in a row, although many do it.

  • i agree. ive seen someone tear a pec... the thought of my pec rolling up into my shoulder like an acordian scares the shit outa me.

  • Ryan Kenelly recently attemped 1200 lb bench, and nearly made it, and will probably attain that some time soon.

  • A 1200 bench, or an 1100 bench? I've seen him attempt an 1100 bench, but he wasn't as light then as he is now. He's 80 pounds lighter now since his 1100 attempt. Could he be that much stronger?

  • Look it up, he attempted 1200, he didn't make it, but it will probably come in the near future.

  • The most Ryan has ever done to date and was official is 1074lbs, He's not anywhere close to benching 1200lbs!

  • Did I say he ever did it? No. Did I say it would come in the future? Yes. Useless post for no reason on your part? Yes.

  • You said he attempted a 1200lb bench and nearly made it. Are you fking retarded or something look 2 posts down moron, Your contradicting yourself!

  • He did nearly make it you fucking dumb bitch, watch the fucking video. How bout you trying benching half that weight and then talk.

  • Now your saying he attempted it again, Get your story straight you fucking moron. Oh and i do bench 385lbs raw and 515lbs shirted, Lets see you do half of what i can bitch!

  • I do the exact same numbers as you and I don't even powerlift anymore, that if, it's even true. And you are truly a dense mother fucker if cannot read, it posted CLEARLY every single fucking time, he attempted it, but didn't get it, but it was close, and he might attain it soon. It's as if your a complete retard and your reading something different each time. Man take reading lesson... please.

  • Uh, you're rather rude for someone who is incorrect. He has never attempted 1200 pounds in competition...ever. And in all likelihood, he probably wont. His weight now hovers between 265-275 and he bombed his last two meets trying to break the 275 class record of 1031. But you ARE incorrect. Ryan has never attempted 1200 in competition and he's only ever done more than 1100 pounds in training for board presses, not for full range reps.

  • First of all I never talked about in competition, so your kinda argueing a useless case on your own there buddy. And secondly, there are videos if you don't believe me, try looking it up.

  • On youtube? There are not. Scot Mendelson has a couple videos of himself attempting 1200 for board presses, but Ryan Kennelly has never attempted 1200 pounds for a full range bench press. If you're so convinced there are videos of it, where can they be found? He has gone for 1100 and 1105 in competition and 1120 for a one board press. But please, tell me what the names of these alleged videos are and where they can be found.

  • @Ludichris8531 Raw bench determines the strongest man, without argument. Until Ryan can beat a raw 715, mendy is the strongest bencher alive. You against the bar. You can't argue with that.

  • Yes, I would not argue with you on that, I agree wholeheartedly. Ryan got stapled to the bench in competition attempting 675 in 2010.

  • @tastefulphrasing I agree, who cares what a person can bench if they use a shirt. Whats Kennellys max raw?655lbs? If thats the case and he has benched over 1000 shirted it basically means that these shirts can add over 300lbs to a lift? if so thats completely nuts

  • I realize this is an old post, but you know very well that saying that 600 isn't much for a 900+ pound bencher doesn't apply here because the 900+ is with a shirt and the 600+ is raw. 635 raw is a lot to do the day after a meet. Hell, it's a lot to do 2-3 days after a meet. Oh well, it's ryan, if anyone is psycho and animal enough to do it, it's him.

  • Ryan is actually 6'2" and so is cursed with long arms much like myself. But Ryan's arms are actually an EXTREMELY DENSE 22". 22" arms are huge for a powerlifter I think. Especially as hard as they are.

  • 635 the 2nd one,it was on his own forum.

  • that looks like 605 and 635 to me.

  • Yeah it's 605 and 635, The funny part is he Pressed the bar like there was almost no weight on the Fking thing. Unreal.

  • Does slaping makes you lift more ??

  • obviously

  • Well it sends a short jolt of aggressive energy to the central nervous system for most guys. Most guys hate being slapped in the face or spit on, and it gets them going. And I think he's break her in half if she did the second one. XD Anyways, yeah. It's helped me out of a plateau a time or two.
