I'm a Geelong supporter, and the 1989 Grand Final is the best I have seen.

It was a high scoring game exhibiting fantastic football, brutal contests and the best of Gary Ablett's magic.

In the end, a deserved six point win to Hawthorn.

Despite the physical altercations during the match, the players all shook hands at the end of the day as Dennis Cometti said, "Ladies and Gentlemen, you've just seen a classic".

The 1989 Grand Final was what football is all about.
