Do you have to use a glove? Played cricket a few times, and dont need a glove when cathcing. I just asked to play in some tournament at the weekend, i havnt a clue what im doing...think il just drink beer and see how it goes! wahey

tht guy seemed a lil winded and with his flip u want ur glove hand away from the ball.....and a 2nd baseman wouldnt stand so close to the bag

remeber catch with 2 hands so its a quicker throw to 1st

also when receiving a toss from the SS you should try and catch the ball in the palm of your glove, not the webbing. This way the ball is quickly transferred to you hand for the throw.

or u can try to grab the toss without the glove, just barehand it, not recommended for twitchy fielders cuz the main thing is to actually grab th ball and keep looking at it, otherwise ur gonna drop it, if anything, do use the glove
