  • I found myself getting extremely frustrated while watching. I'm sure the end result was awesome, but you worked so painfully slow that I couldn't bring myself to watch the entire video.

  • yes! im not the only one that spells pearson weird :D

  • hey what's the first song in this video ?

  • those are super gay

  • @SuperUrbanNinjas what've you got then

  • so many people using steampunk to bee cool...they are bying expensive stuff from ebay and laughing about people who do thing by their own >.<

Steampunk MEANS doing clothes with old stuff -.-

    good tutorial <3

  • @YukiSensei666 Lol,or buy 'Steampunk' things that have already been made. The fun part I think, is making your own things, from scratch.

  • wonder what was used for the lenses, and what was used to hook the 2 eye pieces together at the bridge. acool looking set of goggles, but it should have been much more succinct and i hate when tutorials dot actually tell you what theyre doing or what theyre using...

  • @WigManPhil

you could use camera filters for lenses

  • Way too long tutorial and effort spent on something less than spectacular. Geez.

  • Hah, Steampunk has fascinated me forever:)

That why I was extatic to learn that there's a movement here in my town!

(Like any other type of "style" it's to express what you feel:).)

  • tnx for the tutorial...it gave me some good ideas...

  • Eeeeew...

  • vreaimemtn beau tutorielle!! bravo! make the same bu un coper pipe and leather . . .. than u will got real goggles!XD

  • very very horrible

  • Even though these are made of paper and tape, I like them. All of the other goggles that I have seen so far have waaay too many things attached to them, all just because it can have other things with it. We don't put a toaster on our bed so that when we wake up we can eat toast! I like the really simple things like this. It's just a pair of goggles...Really cool looking goggles.

  • i cant belive what a waste of time that was

  • use the steps there but use metal, wood or what ever you want to use. im going to make mine with a mix or copper, brass and wood for it

  • Dude, do it your way, but for godsakes get yourself a compass(oterwise known as a round circle-maker-thingie) and make your life easier.

  • hmm paper hmm i dont like D: but good video

  • Thanks thanks and thanks!! Love steampunk <33

  • these are great if you need a fair number of them, for a party of example.

  • :s i wanna make REAL goggles.. not PAPER ones

  • then do the same but in brass, steel, iron, copper or whatever xD ig gunna do it

  • @lXsakuraXkissXl check out threadbangers they teach you how to make one out of a basedball its cool

  • u can use that same desing and use washers for the lenses and a old leather ahnd bang with fauz fur or something soft for the eye pieces

  • your supposed to make steampunk things with old antique parts, otherwise its not genuinely steampunk and is just fake. If you want good goggles get a pair of old aviator goggles on ebay or something. cant go wrong.

  • kinda sucks a bit...

its not enough, one of the main ideals of steampunk fashion is that its very over done and intricut

and frankly, gold painted paper really doesnt suffice

  • i think it would be beter to use plastic tubeing but the parern is still...ok. just use what would be nessisaty of her desine and mess it up a bit so it will be uniqe

  • actually, Steampunk is based on DIY and modification of something. It doesn't always have to be over done. Steampunk items may seem overdone because thats just the tatse of the poerson modding it.

  • ur kidding rite?

  • Nice tutorial...but it looks a little cheap? Can you try to make it a little bit more better looking if not, its ok. I still like the tutorial alot :D

  • i agree

  • .. goggle part out of a plastic tube (or an empty 500ml coke bottle) instead of toliet rolls and then spary first with silver, then gold paint. After this you scuff the gold paint off a bit with wire brushes and/or paint stripper and q-tips, it makes them look a lot more expensive and old metal.

For rims use jar lids. And you can mount the googles on old sunglasses without arms.

this tutorial is great though, made my day when i saw that people are creative enough to do things like this :)

  • nice tutorial ^^

    thnks
