Rookies ? Everts beat riders like Tortelli for world titles. When tortelli came to the states in 99 he went 1 - 1 at glen helen in his first AMA national from bad starts. He was leading the AMA championship until Henry knocked him off and he broke his wrist. In 2000 he beat Carmichael a few times and was in the running for the title until he got injured again. Your a typical American fan. You don't know nothing about motocross outside of the USA.

Yeah, it's really sad. I am 56, and I was an American in California, "pioneering" MX with others there. The Europeans were so helpful and nice. I went to Lars Larson's MX school, etc. Met Dave Bickers, others. Guys like Roger DeCoster really helped Americans get up to speed. Today, in the US, it is all about insulting everyone all the time, especially online. I lived in Europe for a while in the '90s. Sorry I came back here - awful everywhere.

When Carmichael had two perfect seasons Stewart was still on 125's ad his only challenger was Reed. A supercross specialist who couldn't touch Everts when he rode in the GP's. For a former Pro mechanic your so far off the mark. American's couldn't even win their own championship this Year.
