Look at the film where we have 2 jumps on this hill and the second one is about 120 metres long (it's K-90, by the way) and the with the speed like 93,48 (if I remember in a correct way). The result? Nothing happened then. He just fell and that's all.
i'm watching a lot of ski jumping on tv and the normal speed on a LARGE hill is something about 90 kp/h. 93 kp/h on a normal hill is just way to much to land safely, how you can see in the video
I would really disagree. The thing is that if you land like Romoeren in 239-metre jump from Planica in 2005 (deeply bent forward with the whole gravity force directed towards the central part of his body), everything is possible.
Another aspect is that a jumper can not chicken up like Ahonen in 240-metre jump from the same contest. In other words, he mustn't let himself land from too high and consequently shorten the distance. That's stupid, ridiculous, idiotic and sure to fail. What sort of loss in rational thinking it was (of Ahonen's side)...lack of words, you sucked then Janne;/

@powerbacke in the normal hill the average spedd is 80-85. i has jumped in lillehammer k-90 and then i get 85 km/h
