Now everyone on TV's all pre-scripted and slick and professional and boring.

ICAM! I keep wondering why they hired Drew Carey, A COMEDIAN, and then don't allow him to be funny (particularly when he was so hilarious on hiw own show). We don't expect him to come on and do stand-up, but he doesn't even try to be entertaining (or the producers won't let him be). Bob Barker wasn't even a comedian, and he was funnier and more amusing than DRew.
