The greatest president that never was. If you've never heard of Ron Paul, ask yourself why, then watch his speaches and understand. The racist lies are a desperate attempt to smear an unimpeachable man whos voting record backs up everything he has ever said, unlike virtually every other politian you can name.
BTW,this was right around the time when we had the huge savings and loan scandals in this country. Billions of dollars went missing and no one seems to know where it went. Alot of politicians were involved in those S&L"s. McCain-Keating 5-Silverado Savings and Loan. They decided to rewrite the laws in favor of the bankers and look what happened. All kinds of illegal speculative investments just like Madoff only it was nationwide. Fast forward 30 years, meet the new boss same as the old.
Although Congressman Paul's message is still as true as ever, his campaign for the white house would have been much much more successful if he were in his earlier years.
I must disagree. He now has history on his side which makes his arguments even stronger. I'd rather have an older wiser candidate. Why is everyone so hung up on age? Reagan was older when elected and he was elected twice.
Stay tuned because his son Ron Paul Jr is about to enter politics, they have a very similar approach to government.
It's not about age, it's about the intellectual merit of the content of his speeches. As of now, while I've heard hum make brilliant talking points in his public appearances, it's somewhat shallow and rather retetive in points made. This is the only piece of evidence I've seen where he actually discusses the monetary policy behind having an objective standard of value, (i.e. precious medals), and the morality behind capitalism itself.
If you meant to say repetitive I agree. We have heard alot of the same talking points before, but what is important is that he's right and not enough people have heard his message. As far as I'm concerned he can give the same speech 20 times a day. I'd rather hear that than the drivel we get on the news daily. At least he has "intelligent" talking points not crap like "Obama's Not A Citizen".
Political talking points have become so dumbed down and so has our news.
We need to AUDIT THE FED, which is actually a bill in committee at this very moment as HR 1207. Please call your Representative and ask them to support it. There are already 124 Co-Sponsors for it. But then we need to keep the pressure on because the Senate will try and pass a bill that takes the teeth out of an audit, much like the current GAO audit authority is extremely limited.

Feel free to enjoy the many other Ron Paul videos I have uploaded to my page.
Dr Paul voted against renewing the right of blacks to vote in south. It's also in the record, any one can check it. He used also here the wierd opinion you mentioned earlier that the Civil Liberties of blacks are unconstitutional (!)+neoconfederate "states' rights" rheroric
Ignoring Paul's racism is like ingoring the elephant in the room.
He's pretty audacious when he hijacks MLK's name to save his mainstream appeal, if you consider his record and his past statements on MLK.
The rights of blacks to vote were never "up for renewal" as you claim.
Ron Paul voted no for the renewal of the Voting Rights Act in 2006 because of the federal madates that are imposed on the states from the federal level in regards to how state elections have to be run.
No states were ever considering taking the voting rights away from blacks and it certainly wasn't up for vote in the House.
the Act prohibited states from imposing any "voting qualification or prerequisite to voting, or standard, practice, or procedure ... to deny or abridge the right of any citizen of the United States to vote on account of race or color."
Ron Paul voted AGAINST renewing it. Where are my lies. Tell me you defender of racism. And tell me at last something about the Bill White claims.
And if someone else wrote the newsletters HOW DIDN'T HE NOTICE FOR 2 DECADES!
You are misquoting the text out of context for you own selfish reasons. Blacks voting rights were never up for renewel.
Bill White has his own selfish reasons for saying whatever it is he is saying, much like yourself. Who will stoop to any low in order to manipulate facts.
We have already discussed EACH one of these issues, and there is no reason to do it again. If you cannot accept that, then go troll somewhere else.
"the Act prohibited states..." take that statement and put it before ANYTHING and Ron Paul will vote against it. This vote is a support of state's rights, not the specific. Ron Paul will always vote down federal control over state government.
It's that simple.
I don't think he's a racist. But let's assume he is for the sake of argument. His monetary policy is still beneficial to ALL Americans. His work defending our currency in congress affects ALL Americans.
I don't think there's anyone more capable or deserving of being president than this man. It's a fucking disgrace that he was cast aside during the elections.
The racist propoganda in his newsletter were written by someone else and he regrets that it was published in his newsletter.
It doesn't seem to bother the people he represents, they keep re-electing him, personally, I can see why. He is a great man, and if you think he's racist, well my friend, you are misguided.
oh don't you see that the establishment, aka the elite, are simply trying to divide us by injecting race into this issue.. that are trying to discredit his arguments by using this tactic.
Ron Paul isn't racist because the philosophy of liberty doesn't allow for a group based mentality like racism to exist in a truly free country.. we've never been free though. we serve the government by forking over 40% to 60% or our money to various taxes.
Establishment injecting the race issue? His own newsletter raised it in the first place. And the thing that some illuminati took control of his newsletter to defame him is ridiculous. If he opposed those words he would have taken notice and stopped it. The racist material run for DECADES.
I know that dr Paul wants almost no government and 'total liberty'. I am afraid that this may translate to liberty to finally lynch these n****ers and fa**ots. His support from white supremacists disturbs me.
the establishment has been using race to divide us for hundreds of years. this is why the media is constantly playing the race card to draw lines and seperate us into group that are more easily managable.
I am very suprised that you are seemingly denouncing racism, which I applaud, but then turn around and use very racist remarks.. very disturbing. i don't think I can take anything you say seriously at all anymore either.
So you say that Ron Paul by promoting divisive racism for over two decades is part of a sinister establishment? Because, I couldn't agree more.
In addition to racism he spew antisemitic conspiracy garbage as well.
What puzzles me is that you accuse me of being racist. Is your charge the thing that most far-right groups do? The claim that any support for blacks and gays is itself discriminatory?Did I misunderstand?
I repeat. more 'liberty'+less govt+racism=extrajudicial lynching of blacks.
No, I'm not saying that at all. You are the one letting the establishment split us down the middle because of race. The newsletters are protected under the 1st admendment, regardless of their content, like it or not. To not allow them to exist would be unamerican.
I accuse you of being racist because of the racist terminology that you used in your comment.
And no, liberty + less government does not equal what you say. it was the lack of liberty for blacks that caused discrimination.
1)the wording is, apparently, verbatim the words of a white supremacist's interpretation of dr Pauls notion of 'liberty'. I don't believe that you are so dumb as not to get it. If I think that you are disingenuously attacking me to derail the discussion.
2) Permitting those newsletters being published is the best thing, I agree. If not for them we wouldn't know who dr Paul really is. This 1st amendment doesn't protect you from criticism; it guarantees that there can be one.
Exactly who is disingenuously attacking?? Let's see, you are calling me a racist, comparing me to a white supremacist, and trying to vilify the principle of liberty as racist.
You're simply a race baiter who is tryin to use a wedge issue to demonize the revolution that has sprung up against the federal government.
This isn't about the newsletters to u. it's ur ammo to try and discredit the movement.
The newsletters where debunked, and u are repeating tired, and used up talking points.
Like I said... this has all been debunked.. Ron Paul did not actually write those letters.
But really? None of that is racist. It's a ghost writers opinion. It is a known fact DC had a very high crime rate, still does, when these letters were written. I had my wallet snatched by a black guy once, and he was across the street before I knew what happened, and again, in the 80s NYC had an atrocious crime rate.. and those are mearly opinions based on news of the day.
You say simultaneously that his statements are not racist, if they are he didn't write them himself, a writer did (for 20y and Paul was ok with them) and even if they are racist and he wrote them, it's his 1st amendment right. Wow.. That's desperate.
I am appalled by the fact that you don't find these statements racist. He even goes to defend segregation.
I never heard him or as a matter of fact you denouncing these statements.+Did he or not accept donations from white supremacists in 2008?
The only thing desperate is you using two year old discredited talking points trying to discredit ron paul supporters.
If you were to check the donations roles for obama, clinton, mccain, and bush over the last few years, do you not think that some of those donators would be unsavory characters? Or do only clean cut perfect people support those candidates?
you're really reaching for the stars here. Ron Paul has said Rosa Parks and MLK are heros to him and explained why.
It is not about the characters of the people that fund you. It is the ideology they represent. E.g. if one was funded by Ted Haggard you won't accuse him because Haggard turned out a hypocrite. But you'd expect that he'll go with the evangelical social conservative thing.
And vice-versa. i.e. the white nationalist, may in person be ok.The ideology is the problem.
He attended also neoconfederate conventions. And in regards with the MLK what about the notorious 'gay padophile' rant? The welfaria?
As I said.. Ron Paul has stated that Rosa Parks and MLK are heros to him.
watch?v=RKBlk1Vpeuw
And again, the rantings in the newsletters were not written by Ron Paul.. He was a publisher, not the editor. Publishers don't go through everything that is printed, the editors do.. that is their job.
The whole country could be called welfaria.. that's not a racist statement. lots of people are on welfare and government assistance.
Tell me please, then, what did he vote when the republican president Ronald Reagan proposed to make MLKs birthday national holiday? He wouldn't go against his party had he voted 'yea'. What did he vote? Tell me.
HE VOTED NAY!
That's on the record. Everybody can see it. Now if he tried to look moderate on CNN, thats understandable. Even David Duke won't say that he hates blacks on CNN; he just says that he wants to preserve the'european heritage'
If he loves so much the constitution and bashes everything the federal government does INCLUDING CIVIL RIGHT STUFFas unconstitutional, what is his opinion on 16th amendment?
The constitution thing is just an excuse.
The thing with Paul is that he regularly meets with ALL these ACTIVE white supremacists and goes and talks to their conferences. What does he tell them there and they like him so much?
Duke is mentioned as an EXAMPLE of denial of racism in public.
obviously, your argument has degenerated to the point that you have to resort to OUTRIGHT lying. He absolutely does not meet regularly with white supremacists, and just cause some dufass got in a photo op doesn't mean anything. Hillary had all kinds of questionable donors during her campaign including Oscar Wyatt who was an oil for food exploiter under Saddam.
If u want to know his position on the 16th amendment there are plenty of videos where he talks of it.
His stance on gay issues and reproductive rights + 16th amendemnt were metioned to show you that this 'contitution fundamentalism' argument in regard with the "nay" voting for MLK holiday doesn't hold.
What I see, is that you barely understand what i say, yet every second post you declare 'internets victory' as is if you are 13 yo and you return to the same dumb arguments to which I have answered 2-3 times.
What did you expect? Paul to go on a racist rant on CNN with Wolf Blitzer saying "we were appalled by those statements"?
And in regards with the libretarian ideal. Where is the liberty of a woman to chose? And his "states' rights" stance in gay issues IS UNconstitutional and replaces federal liberty with local oppresion.
His weak apologies on national TV and the absurd 'constitution' excuses can't account neither for his voting record, his past rants nor his political allies.
This debate isn't about the right to choose, or gay marriage, those are whole other issues, and have nothing to do with Ron Paul's newsletters. u are really reaching here, trying to redirect to another topic.
your arguments have been debunked. You're doing nothing but spewing unsubstantiated heresy at this point, and trying to vear off into other hotly contested issues is simply your attempt to cloud this issue and turn this debate into something else.
What do you say about the stuff that Bill White says?
Bill White (head of the american national socialist workers' party) claims that dr Paul and aides regularly meet with people from stormfront, CCofC, American Renaissance and the institute for Historical Review. White claims that he keeps his view on race and "world Judaism" and that he is quiet now "because of his polical position".
the whole Guilt by association thing.. pathetic attempt on your part. WHo cares what those peope think or say??
I have two words.. Bill Ayers.. Obama's connection to a KNOWN terrorist.
so you want to go around calling ROn Paul racist because something some racist said? I could very well call Obama a terrorist based on his connection, but I don't because one guys OPINION is irrelavent.. it doesn't dictate what Obama or Ron Paul think. so like I said, get over it. you have very weak points
And as I previously said, I've seen a lot of people in the far right supporting Ron Paul and NONE that opposes him. I've seen pics of people giving roman salutes with german war flags and posters of ron paul side by side. Is this part of a conspiracy?Or is it because he actively appeals to them and he do stresses to them that liberty is also freedom to hate.
Go see what opinion the people at STORMFRONT have about ron paul. If they are part of his base, I certainly am not with them
fuck those people.. but they have a right to their views, like them or not, and it's protected speech. liberty is freedom to hate if you choose, but it's when that hate turns into violence that it becomes a crime. thinking a certain way is not a crime. I certainly don't endorse their views, but neither does Ron Paul.
Anyone who would deny the rights of another man or woman doesn't truly believe in the philosophy of liberty. They can support Ron Paul, but they view don't influence his views.
i cant even think of enduring twenty five years around that kind of corruptness. he deserves a lot of respect for fighting for us for so long. too bad its been twenty five years of noone listening. open your eyes people, we are being decieved.

I never heard him or as a matter of fact you denouncing these statements.+Did he or not accept donations from white supremacists in 2008?
11thsockpuppet 2 years ago
The only thing desperate is you using two year old discredited talking points trying to discredit ron paul supporters.
If you were to check the donations roles for obama, clinton, mccain, and bush over the last few years, do you not think that some of those donators would be unsavory characters? Or do only clean cut perfect people support those candidates?
you're really reaching for the stars here. Ron Paul has said Rosa Parks and MLK are heros to him and explained why.
RonPaulvsTyranny 2 years ago
It is not about the characters of the people that fund you. It is the ideology they represent. E.g. if one was funded by Ted Haggard you won't accuse him because Haggard turned out a hypocrite. But you'd expect that he'll go with the evangelical social conservative thing.
And vice-versa. i.e. the white nationalist, may in person be ok.The ideology is the problem.
He attended also neoconfederate conventions. And in regards with the MLK what about the notorious 'gay padophile' rant? The welfaria?
11thsockpuppet 2 years ago
RonPaulvsTyranny 2 years ago
So MLK is his hero you say, eh?
Tell me please, then, what did he vote when the republican president Ronald Reagan proposed to make MLKs birthday national holiday? He wouldn't go against his party had he voted 'yea'. What did he vote? Tell me.
HE VOTED NAY!
That's on the record. Everybody can see it. Now if he tried to look moderate on CNN, thats understandable. Even David Duke won't say that he hates blacks on CNN; he just says that he wants to preserve the'european heritage'
11thsockpuppet 2 years ago
No, I didn't say MLK was Ron Paul's hero, he did.
Ron Paul is Doctor No.. he votes no towards almost everything the federal government does, because almost everything it does is unconstitutional.
And David Duke has NOTHING to do with this debate.. you're gonna have to do better than that.
Are you ever gonna be done shilling for your group?? I can keep discrediting your views, with pleasure, until you are sick in the face
RonPaulvsTyranny 2 years ago
If he loves so much the constitution and bashes everything the federal government does INCLUDING CIVIL RIGHT STUFFas unconstitutional, what is his opinion on 16th amendment?
The constitution thing is just an excuse.
The thing with Paul is that he regularly meets with ALL these ACTIVE white supremacists and goes and talks to their conferences. What does he tell them there and they like him so much?
Duke is mentioned as an EXAMPLE of denial of racism in public.
11thsockpuppet 2 years ago
obviously, your argument has degenerated to the point that you have to resort to OUTRIGHT lying. He absolutely does not meet regularly with white supremacists, and just cause some dufass got in a photo op doesn't mean anything. Hillary had all kinds of questionable donors during her campaign including Oscar Wyatt who was an oil for food exploiter under Saddam.
If u want to know his position on the 16th amendment there are plenty of videos where he talks of it.
would do you lots of good.
RonPaulvsTyranny 2 years ago
His stance on gay issues and reproductive rights + 16th amendemnt were metioned to show you that this 'contitution fundamentalism' argument in regard with the "nay" voting for MLK holiday doesn't hold.
What I see, is that you barely understand what i say, yet every second post you declare 'internets victory' as is if you are 13 yo and you return to the same dumb arguments to which I have answered 2-3 times.
I am NOT lying; SEE what BILL WHITE claims
Are you trolling me?Or are you for real?
11thsockpuppet 2 years ago
What did you expect? Paul to go on a racist rant on CNN with Wolf Blitzer saying "we were appalled by those statements"?
And in regards with the libretarian ideal. Where is the liberty of a woman to chose? And his "states' rights" stance in gay issues IS UNconstitutional and replaces federal liberty with local oppresion.
His weak apologies on national TV and the absurd 'constitution' excuses can't account neither for his voting record, his past rants nor his political allies.
11thsockpuppet 2 years ago
This debate isn't about the right to choose, or gay marriage, those are whole other issues, and have nothing to do with Ron Paul's newsletters. u are really reaching here, trying to redirect to another topic.
your arguments have been debunked. You're doing nothing but spewing unsubstantiated heresy at this point, and trying to vear off into other hotly contested issues is simply your attempt to cloud this issue and turn this debate into something else.
Go troll somewhere else.

11thsockpuppet 2 years ago
the whole Guilt by association thing.. pathetic attempt on your part.
RonPaulvsTyranny 2 years ago
And as I previously said, I've seen a lot of people in the far right supporting Ron Paul and NONE that opposes him. I've seen pics of people giving roman salutes with german war flags and posters of ron paul side by side. Is this part of a conspiracy?Or is it because he actively appeals to them and he do stresses to them that liberty is also freedom to hate.
Go see what opinion the people at STORMFRONT have about ron paul. If they are part of his base, I certainly am not with them
11thsockpuppet 2 years ago
fuck those people.. but they have a right to their views, like them or not, and it's protected speech. liberty is freedom to hate if you choose, but it's when that hate turns into violence that it becomes a crime. thinking a certain way is not a crime. I certainly don't endorse their views, but neither does Ron Paul.
Anyone who would deny the rights of another man or woman doesn't truly believe in the philosophy of liberty. They can support Ron Paul, but they view don't influence his views.

Ron saw the writing on the wall. Everything he cautioned about the potential dangers of the Fed has come to pass... and then some.
