my parents would watch Tamil movies quite often. I think the last time I saw them watching this one was when I was like 8 or 9 (I'm 18 now and I don't live w/ my parents anymore)...I'm in the US right now. yeah i know how that goes haha. picture this, i went to an all boys boarding school up in the mountains and hills in Yercaud for like the first three grades (im in the states now). so imagine the climate and environment in yercaud (wiki it), very similar to the setting in Roja. i could also relate to the character as i never go to see my parents those years. anyways, it was there where i first saw this movie, i was like 9 then. so imagine all the memories that came rushing back!~cf
