I was looking for ones from Anne Frank online & found this & now I really want to do it too :) Is there a link to this on the internet somewhere? Like all the lines? I only have the book, not the play, ha.

@celiandcarl Thanks so much! I was in the show (like I said) so I just got the monologue from the script. I don't think this particular on is available on the internet, but if you are willing to invest about $7.50, you can buy the script! Especially if you love Anne Frank, it's a beautiful script. It's published by the Dramatist Play Service, and it's the newly adapted version. It's light yellow. haha but I would invest in the script, personally(:

@carleeandnicole Well this is from the play, not the book (; Some of the diary was altered to fit the stage and such. And I'm pretty sure there was a Hanneli (she is known to have been friends with Anne in Holland) in the diary, but maybe this particular instance wasn't actually about her.

I'm pretty sure that she is referred to as Hanneli in this actual excerpt from the diary. I went to the place where they hid about a month ago and there was a chunk of this exact same excerpt was quoted on the wall and I think it used the name, Hanneli. I wonder whether this has to do with translator's interpretation; since I'm presuming the diary was written in Dutch and people translated it, maybe different translators use different ways of saying Hanneli's name.

That performance made me feel washed out and very depressed in a good way. I felt engaged and horrified by both the dialouge and you acting it with clarity and pathos. And the fact that you could do a performance like that and the next second be smiley and happy shows what an incredible actress you are.

Ok... so I kind've have a gift for when I see good acting. Whenever I see really good acting I get tears in my eyes and I feel the persons emotions and pretty much everybody that I've liked has gotten noticed it just takes work and you truthfully brought tears to my eyes so good luck :)
