  • whose the guy directed this film???

  • @finishembird Gaspard Noé

  • Truly brilliant film. For a scene to make you feel that uncomfortable and tense takes a lot of doing. Not many films can make you do that, which is why I have so much respect for this film.

  • hot woman needless to say, that rape scene was interesting 2 watch.. just thought the beating afterwards was unnecessary ....isn't it enough to completly rape her,you also need to smash her pretty face in? justsayin"

  • love the accent

  • I have to hand it to her, she really made the best of a VERY uncomfortable role. She really has balls.

  • i bet her parents are so proud lol

  • Sexy actress but the film was a totally vile film this one was, the longest rape on film record and made me uncomfortable

  • She got butt-raped in this movie.

  • as a woman, I seriously hated this film. The fact that it included that rape scene in it makes it twisted, no matter how much people say it horrifies them, face it, seeing scenes like that just makes rape seem more "understandable" and more banale, cliche, and so on. I'm just not into films that do anything to shock and gather attention.

  • @NightinGal89 since the purpose of the scene was to make you as a viewer truly sympathetic with the main character and show you the motivation for his actions in the beginning of the film, i don't see how it could have been done any more effectively. how you perceived it on an individual basis is really completely irrelevant. ultimately, the art stands alone, unaffected by one individual's perception. how you view any piece of art is of course, entirely subjective.

  • @NightinGal89 that's the stupidest comment iv read in awhile. how did that scene make rape more understandable or banal or cliche? it forced people to confront the ugly truth of an act like that, which is rare, confronting sickness is healthy hiding from it compounds it. sounds like your trying to rationalize an inability to stomach the truth. Rape is a subject that needs more attention gathered around it that how you raise consciousness.

  • @rufusfizzle "confronting sickness"..that's BS. It just turns on those who are already sick and perverted, and sickens the rest of us, who are normal..doesn't change anything. The only people for which this scene can change anything are those who are latent sadists and perverts, who will feel comforted at the thought that they are not the only ones who can think of such scenes.

  • @rufusfizzle And notice that I use the word "think", not fantasize..because even thinking about scenes like these makes you half-twisted.

Besides, I kind of know what you're doing here, after checking the list of videos you last posted comments to...pervert.

  • @NightinGal89haha really perhaps you'd like to explain what im doing. I know a girl who started taking a lot more care about the situations she let herself get into after watching this film, maybe that will one day save her life. one example of a so called "normal person"(only idiots think in those terms) who's behavior has been altered . this scene is supposed to sicken you its a sickening act but a real one, the idea that its sole purpose is to comfort sadists is frankly retarded!!!!!

  • @NightinGal89 and by the way liking and being interested in sex dont make me a pervert just an adult, come join us when your ready. and when did i accuse you of fantasizing?

  • @NightinGal89 Unfortunately dear, you seemed to have missed the point. Life itself is polar. love/hate life/death... and in the end, time destroys all things.

  • This film is absolutely brilliant, and Gaspar Noe is a true Auteur. The nuances, the subtleties that most will miss, the elegance of the camera movements and each symbolic message behind almost every detail is astonishing. I could write hundreds of pages on this film if I was asked to. I don't know about anyone else, but this film had a monumental influence on the way in which I view human sexuality; a simply haunting film. Unbelievable, but not for the faint of heart.

  • she sounds very intelligent and articulate.

  • What a beautiful and intelligent person.

  • Awesome interview, it couldn't be an american doing the interview cause they are always the one doing the talking and interrupting.....Monica is very articulate, love this movie..........

  • Good movie .

  • i just bought this movie !!!!

  • @thanhbites Do you watch the same 10 minute scene over and over?

  • @thanhbites Yes i do .

  • she is gorgus !!!!

  • her acting is that good and french isnt even her first language! That just puts American actresses to shame...amazing

  • @bloodvendetta If you care comparing then you obviously feel inadequate.

  • @strafer first of all I think you need to learn english better...that sentence makes no sence. Second of all im not an actor, or an American, or a woman, or French....so yeah no I dont feel inadequate nor do I know what the fuck you are talking about...

  • @bloodvendetta You use sloppy punctuation and then mention learning English better. My comment went entirely over your head. Just disregard it then.

  • @bloodvendetta USA sux in mainstream cinema

  • God she is an angel

  • What a deliverance to see her doing well...

  • inguardabile come sempre Monica.
