that sums up every things in my eyes. If humans wouldn't mass produce ignorance we wouldn't have this problem. Also, i blame parents that teach their children such ignorance. "I bet if we got ride of all the straight people in the world, it would be a better place." -
Makes me proud to be a Bostonian. We have come together and will continue to come together until we are all free. Resiliant and courageous are words that can be used to define all gay persons. What a show of solidarity put together in such haste. It really is remarkable and commendable. AND...this is just the beginning. Now that we've stood up, we dont plan on ever sitting down. Everyone that took part...give yourself a pat on the back and get ready for the next show of fortitude.
Thank You Boston, My wife and I were married in California, where we live, Sept,27 we have been together 17 years..There have been protests here every day since the election...If I'm not working I'm at a protest..I'll be peaceful, but I won't be silenced..I'm so proud of our community, this is why we call each other FAMILY..In Peace Liz
THANK YOU, BOSTON! Thank you for standing united with us here in California and all across our country. United We Stand. Divided we fall, and we plan on standin' for as long as it takes. With lots of LOVE from your brothers and sisters in San Francsico.
Shouldn't the fight be with the states relationships with the church? Why does a religious faiths definition of a union translate into the governments policy? This to me is simply another example of the lack of separation of church and state.
The Supreme Court protects me and YOU from mob rule. Prop 8 was illegal, just like prop 22 was, so it will be repealed. If you don't like equality or believe in equal rights for ALL citizens of this great country of ours, then you are free to move where your bigotry would be better suited...say...Iran? Yes, you may be part of the majority, and that gives you a great sense of power, but that does not make you right. Down with 8--Up with equality.
Does this look like a small minority, go through the videos in citys all over the country, and do you really think this is all of us? think again...It doesn't matter what the voters want, what matters is what the constitution says, All men are created equal, it doesn't say except gay people..Read our constitution, there are protections of the minority FROM the majority. If we had majority rule we would still have slavery and women couldn't vote...I would protect your rights. In Peace

When are people gonna get it, the voters DONT want their State to recognize gay marriage.
It passed in every state it was in, who is the supreme court or a small minority to impose otherwise??
Maybe they can all move to DC, where it will be recognized by federal law.

I was there; some of the signs people had were amazing. One woman's sign said "Discrimination is so gay." It was a big hit.

Joining the protest on Saturday was the only action that has made me feel a modicum better about Prop 8. It was amazing to be there.
