  • seriously underpowered, I wouldn't recommend this plane, and the landing gear was a bit fragile, for me at least.

  • whats a good beginner jet

  • that is sexy!

  • Does anybody recommend this for a beginner?

  • anybody know what is max weight of this plane to takeoff ??

  • Put a tiny bb gun on the front for the cannon :D Then strafe some foam tanks :P

  • what channel

  • it sounds kid of wierd

  • what do reccomend for beggginiers

  • This hobby is too much fun to let a few miserable losers try and spoil it for the rest of us. My only bad experience has been with an ebay company Technicala, also known as RC-World-International.. The prices are more expensive than other stores and there is NO WARRANTY and NO RETURNS! They sometimes ship broken parts or something other than you ordered and then you are stuck with it. The nastiness of their “customer service” is unprecedented BANANAHOBBY IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

  • if you get a battery that has high mah does it last longer and go faster

  • @4373william a battery with a higher mAh rating will last longer, weigh slightly more, and offer a little more power because it can output more amperage. Lithium polymer batteries are the way to go as they are lightweight and have high voltage and runtimes.

  • hey thats the place off the 60 freeway across from the gun range

  • it seems pretty slow but its good for beginners and its cheap so what do you want more?

  • Nice plane!

  • VIEL ZU LANGSAM FÄLLT JA BALD RUNTER

  • can it do loopings??

  • @lolpat45 the brushless version yes.. the brushed .... I don't think so..

  • what does brushed motors mean?

  • it means the motor has no protection so if you need to clean it brushless is it is covered so no dirt gets inside of it and u dont have to do nothing to motor

  • @djlolypop Wrong. Brushed motor require brushings to provide contact they are generally heavy and less powerfull. Brushless motors dont require brushes and have more power and they are lighter.

  • @djlolypop That is the funniest explanation of brushed and brushless I have ever heard. Are you an R/C pilot? If so you need to do a little studying of the hobby. So you say they are called brushed cause you have to brush them off? I will be laughing a long time about that answer!!!

  • they made it underppowered so beginners could actually fly a jet

  • Don't buy anything from this Bananahobby!

Google it and you'll findout that they have over 300 complaints against them at the BBB.

  • I have a same A-10, but I would like to get it to be faster...

What kind of brushless could I put in?

And what battery should I get ?

    Thanks alot!

  • you need to do what I did with my

    is 4 times faster

    video on my channel

  • ask the rcpower dude he might know

  • @breikin777 If you want something REAAAAALLY FAST go with dons 55mm fans and motors ;)

  • i agree it is way underpowered i recomend a brushless upgrade to make it fly accurately

  • xD

    sweet ;D

    freak!

    how stupid!

  • lol well what i did is i just added brushless motors to mine and it flies way better so i dont really need the new version plus my friend got the new version so i just fly his lol but this is an ok plane its not that great but its also almost 2 years old since it came out soo thats y its not the best

  • /..... the plane needs sooo much more power

  • @hotblume jep, that bird is pretty lame! the new version has an accurate amount of thrust!

  • iam a intermediate flyer is it a good intermediate 1 and is the new brushles 1 a good intermediate flyer? message me plz at zackychane@youtube thx and if it not a good intermediate jet then plz tell me a good jet for me thx

  • is this stock?

  • yea looks to b

  • are you the owner of banana hobby? a lot of your beginner planed are inexpensive.

  • wat again is a brushless moter exactly. i have not had a rc plane for a long time

  • so to turn it you put it sideways and pull up? sorry because im a begginer and

    looking for something more challenging

but theres no rudder thanks :D

  • You are correct. You are using a combination of the ailerons and elevators to turn.

  • when is there going to be some more rc a-10's in stock

  • There is a new model of the A-10! The new video is up and running as well! Thanks!

  • i was going to buy the brushless version today but im not sure if i should get an extra battery

What type of extra battery should i get ??? sense most people say that the stock doesnt have enough power

  • The stock battery in the brushless version has plenty of power. Stay around an 1800mah and it will be fine.

  • I ordered this and i got it last night and assemble it. I went forest preserve to test it after 4 round trying to taking off my A-10 ram garbage can broken in to pieces!

very dissapointed! i should bought 150$+ rc !

  • looks boring, the P-51 is where it's at! What's that god-awful noise? The engine?

  • did you modify this ??????

  • This was flown stock.

  • i oder this hows it fly ???

  • It flies just like the video. It is stable but not a super speed aircraft.

  • i finally got it this plane is awsome looking i still practicing with a simulator this is my fist 4 channel plane

  • damn pete!! im so jealous! you flie lots of planes whenever you want! and they are so great i want one but i do not have any cent :(

i wish you were my brother!

  • Well, start saving up! That's what I did for my first airplane and my first surfboard!

  • thanks for the reply. i'm going to save up for the brushless.

  • SWEEEEEEEEEEET!

  • i'm going to buy this plane soon. saving up. i'm only 14. anyways, can you do a review of the camouflage j3 piper cub possibly?

  • You should save up a few bucks extra and get the brushless version on our site. That one does have much more power.

  • when you did the takeoff, was that full throttle?

  • Yes it sure was at full. It is not super powerful.

  • I can see why there building a brushless version, Doesnt look like It has enough power to get out of its own way!! Hey FKAguy if it were me I'd buy the TW Cessna. I own one and there a great first plane.

  • TW Cessna! One of my favorite care free flying planes!!

  • Looks very underpowered. but flies nicely.

  • Thanks for the comment!

  • what song is that

  • ......would you recommend the A-10 brushed , TW cessna,A-10 brushless or Wingtiger for a first time pilot?

  • The TW Cessna is wayyyyyyy better!

  • It says four channels but I don't think there is any working rudder.

  • There is a steerable nose wheel that counts it as the 4th channel. :)

  • Thanks. I just got one!

  • SWEEEEEEEEET!

  • I wouldn't use the rubber cement that came with it. It's too heavy. Use some epoxy instead and sand the joint lightly so that the epoxy has something to stick on.

  • Yes I agree. I always use Epoxy.

  • can you run a lipo battery in this particular plane?

  • It actually comes with a 1800mah Lipo.

  • Wow that thing doesnt even want to get off the ground, is the brushless one better?

  • it should be 3X better

  • Pete, will the Burshless setup be too fast for a beegineer?

  • The brushless version is actually not as fast as one would think. It's speed is very scale.

  • Use 10 or 15 minute Epoxy if you can. Even with the kit glue, make sure you mix the parts together in equal amounts.

This A-10 is a fun aircraft. If you have a bit of experience with at least a 3 channel airplane, this will be fine to move on to.

  • I want to buy one of these for my first "true" rc plane(not that air hogs stuff) is it a good plane? can it withstand crashes? please help me!!!

  • Just bought this a-10 and the engines will not stay glued on! I'm using the epoxy that came with the kit; I'm either doing something wrong or this kit sucks.

  • Don't used the glue that come with the kit. It only good for gluing art to the wall.lol Beside used a true 30 min epoxy at local Hobby Shop. Also make sure all parts are lightly sand before attaching them.Make the bond stick better. And give enough time for the parts to harden and setup.

  • Yup, I picked up some 5 min. epoxy earlier today and this stuff is golden. The engines are not coming off now but if they do I'll take your advice on sanding the joints lightly. Thanks.

  • will it still be easy to fly and good for beegineers when i use the brushless upgrade?

  • Hey pete, can the brushed a-10 be upgraded to the brushless version and if so is there a kit available for the upgrade?

  • The brushed can be upgraded. You will have to do some cutting to get the new motors in. I am working on the upgrade kit soon!

  • Is it possible to convert the brushed fans to mini turbine? Also can this plane be retro fitted for gear to close?

  • Turbine as in a Real Turbine? If so, then it is a no. The construction is foam. It will not be able to take the heat a turbine emits.

  • will you make a "what`s in the boks revi" for this plane?

  • Soon!! :)

  • Kind of a hard landing, looks like you bend the rgt landing gear. Pretty cool for a RTF model.

  • Good notice! I sure did. The winds were pretty turbulent that day!

  • does it have a Steerable Nose Wheel

  • Yep! Steerable nose wheel!

  • i was on your website and saw the word rudder?

    what do Rudder mean

  • A Rudder is a control surface on the rear of the vertical stabilizer that controls the "turn" of the airplane.

  • thanks

  • Is thing slower? I'm afraid to buy an F18 or F4 because they look soo fast! I need something slower for my first EDF

  • This A10 is very slow. Almost too slow! I would suggest the brushless A10 we are going to have in stock very soon.

  • okey

  • yes, I have some stick time with smaller rc planes

  • If you so, then the A-10 should be fine!

  • if you cud rate the plane from 1-10 on how difficould it is to fly how would you rate it

  • Is this easy to fly if you have some stick time with smaller rc planes?

  • It will depend on how much stick time you have. It's an easier EDF to fly. The wings are nice and wide.

  • I have flown a typhoon 3d but was sloppy.

  • Thats a different plane for sure. The A10 is much more stable.

  • Is the brushless version as easy?

  • The brushless version is way better!

  • So your saying it's also as stable as the one in this video?Wow if so I might get myself one.

  • The servo will bind up even when I completely remove it from the plane...? I can hold it in my hand and turn it and it will lock up... I guess it's not a big deal now as I removed the landing gear from the plane. I'm still curious as to why it locks up though... any other thoughts?

  • That sounds like there may be a stripped servo gear.

  • Hey guys at bananahobby I just bought this plane a few weeks ago and have yet to have a very successful flight with it, i'm about to go try it again here soon. My biggest problem in the servo for the front gear will randomly lock up to the extreme left of right direction, making takeoff impossible... any suggestions???

  • Check to see if the nose gear servo is binding at all. Also when you glued the 2 wood pieces on to the nose gear area, check to see if that is preventing it from turning smoothly.

  • Hey again,

What do ya mean by cycling the battery

  • Charging and discharging the battery a few times will bring the battery to perform better.

  • how much does postage cost to australia?

  • You can go to our web site and click ad to cart and enter your shipping code and it will give you the exact shipping amount! Thanks!

  • Hey Pete,

I bought one of those myself but the thing hardly even flys, its very underpowered. So has that got the original radio gear in it or did you install it with your own.

    Thanks Brodie

  • Try cycling the battery a few times. Mine was no super jet but it did fly nice. I flew it all stock out of the box. It needs plenty of ground speed before you can pull on the stick.

  • that things a friggin dog dude..

  • esta muy lindo el aeromodelo, muy elegante.

  • is that the guanli version

  • Yes it is made by Guanli. We have a Full Brusless Version coming in the next few weeks!

  • Nice flight. It's a pity it cannot raise gear when flying or mount and shoot mavericks, rockets etc.

  • Is it ok to go from a 2 ch to this 4 ch?And can you give me a basic review?

  • It depends on what type of 2 channel experience you have. You can learn on a 4 channel as well!

  • Ok thanks!

  • It does come with the radio system. =)

  • im sorrry if i missed u say it in the video but did that come with the controller?

  • This A-10 was tested stock out of the box with all the stock motors, esc and battery. No modifications were made. The stock 650mah 9.6v NiMh battery was used as well. Just be sure to have plenty of ground speed before taking off, number 1 rule of thumb for EDF's.

  • I just bought the A-10, can u give me the details of the motors, esc's and lipo u guys r using so i can upgrade mines ?

  • Thanks for the comment! I am actually on my way out the door to test the Twin Brushless/LiPo A-10 we just received! So far building and initial testing shows to be very promising! Video of the brushless A-10 will be up this weekend. =)

  • Nice flying. That thing is dieing for twin brushless power. Looks like stock on a windy day it would be a wind sock :~P But pretty sweet looking for as cheep as they sell em.

  • nice work mate. nice landing

  • Yes. I test flew this A-10 completely stock out of the box.

  • was this plane completely stock??
