Do us a favor and never, ever fucking use this music in a youtube video again. Seriously, it's one of those tracks that was once awesome, and due to overuse became the bane of existence.
Is there a true HD version of this available for download? Youtube's lousy bitrate means that the 720p version is mostly hash when viewed full screen, and this would be *awesome* in full screen.
Alternatively, if this was rendered with Mandelbulber, any chance of releasing the settings files so we can render it ourselves?
Best 3d fractal exploration movie, ever. Really atmospheric, and the fractal stays interesting, every place is different. Love the Lava theme too, and the music just fits.
Hm... visualizing the iteration count is a good idea! Btw., approximately how many iterations do you need per pixel (I mean the raymarching iteration, not the Mandelbulb iteration itself)?
This is outstanding! I really don't want to think how much processing power was involved into creating this fantastic fractal landspace in so mach detail along with the orange fog effect. If anything, one could improve a little bit the camera's motion path to make it softer. Keep it up!
Hmm, it seems you don't realize the implications of what your seeing. I feel the mandelbulb 3d fractal is a landmark for humanity in our quest to realize infinity (which IMO is the soul purpose of this life.) True it doesn't compare to a hit of dmt, but it's the closest thing we've got. And that is pretty cool.
Definately a close call between this and TwinBee's 'Into the Heart of the Mandelbulb' video for best mandelbulb video around at present (out of what I've found so far!)

Douglas Adams said that the best approximation we came come up with of infinity is nowhere near infinity. Actual infinity is really pretty boring.
