I'm not the typical blind metal fan, some bands are metal, some are not. Cradle of Filth is big but it's metal, while WT is big but not even close to be metal - not even the band think they're metal, as simple as that.

In my country, Within Temptation is quite big actually, but they pratically lost their fanbase from "Enter" and ME times and gained new one for TSF and THOE, this last one MTV fanbase. They're not "underground" here, in metal scene, they're bit of a joke, I used to defend them, but I ended to agree with the criticism. It's amazng how they got change for the worst, sometimes it's hard to believe.
