I'm pretty sure I'm hypothyroid .I have constipation use bathroom prolly once
every 7 - 10 days . sleep 12 hours and wake up feeling like I have had zero sleep. couldn't lose weight on a 1200 calorie diet despite walking 4 miles a day. am losing about 3 lbs a week now eating 500 calories and walking 1 hour every day this is crazy .
took tsh test and nurse said was normal. when I save up enough money I'm going back for 4 or 5 more tests I guess .
Hello , I read your story and I would like to offer some help if possible, I have worked closely with a great health and wellness expert and he has taught me a lot about health. One of the things I have learned is that your, health is your wealth . let me tell you that irish moss is a seaweed that has 92 minerals in it, it basically repairs the digestive system. when you include this in your diet you will nolonger experience ulcers, constipation, anemia or lack of energy
Hey, Josh. I was in your HLC 1 in San Francisco. Thanks for the shout out. It was an amazing class. Thanks for a great weekend. And your youtube posts are really helpful on my journey as a learning practitioner. All the best.
I've had hypothyroidism since birth because of a pituitary gland dislocation. The doctors discovered it when I was about 5, been taking medications ever since.
I dont think there's anything I can do other than taking medicine.
Josh = I can't tell you how much I appreciate your posts. I don't know how you do it, but your topic timing is perfect and always "hits-it-on-the-head" (for me and countless others). Keep up the good work. You are a wellspring of info and I love the education in your no-nonsense delivery. I only wish I was closer to your SD clinic and not all the way up in Portland, Ore. Rock on, Mandy
With all due respect DUDE...you have to look at everyone as an individual! I have some who are gluten intolerant and celiac, all known from testing, that can and cannot handle grains. Books and research are great, but the person will provide you with the most info. Thank you though for sharing your experiences of what works for YOU!
With all due respect and a person with Celiac disease. Amaranth is gluten free. It is considered to be a pseudograin (seed) unlike wheat , barley, rye, etc... that has gluten. You can verify this information on any official Gluten free website . Have a nice day. :)
That all depends on the person and all their other assessments that we use. If you do test the adrenals and treat them, but over a 6 month period you get no results, even when eating right, etc, sometimes there may be a gut, thyroid, etc issue.
Josh...I know adrenal problems and gut problems go hand in hand..but do you think that if people follow your 4R gut healing program and treat the adrenals with bioidenticals...wouldnt everything be ok?? Sorry just a little confused....
All depends on the person and why you are doing what you are doing, how consistent they are, etc. There is more too it than just a healing program and bio-denticals. If you are doing the above, but not getting enough sleep lets say, no, you would not get better.
I noticed you have a lot of tattoos, Josh. Doesn't the ink cover up your pores and block your skin from sweating out toxins?

Not sure, but if you are in Canada, go see a Guy Voyer (Sutherland) trained Osteopath.

is an adrenal stress profile a useful tool in suggesting and improving hypothyroidism or is a free t3/t4 test the only reliable indicator? thanks
